[Z] [PREACHING LESSON 5] "HELP!!! HAVE MERCY ON ME!!!" IS THE ONLY WORD SOULS CAN SAY IN HELL

"HELP!!! HAVE MERCY ON ME!!!" IS THE ONLY WORD SOULS CAN SAY IN HELL

(Luke 16:23-26) "And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom."

v.24: "And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame."

v.25: "But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented."

v.26: "And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence."

a. I believe that the only word souls can say in hell is "Help Me!!!", being in a flaming fire is undoubtedly a severe anguish and that is an everlasting torment, there is no way of turning back and to escape from the reality.

b.The bible can prove this on verse 24:  "And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me,"

5 Reasons Why Souls In Hell Will Say "Help Me, Have Mercy On Me "

1. BECAUSE HELL IS A PLACE OF AN EVERLASTING TORMENT.

(Luke 16:23) "And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom."

"Torment" meaning is agony, horror, misery, nightmare, torture. These are the worse things the souls of men will experience in hell. "Help me" in a forever agony, misery, horror and torture of the souls is a very sad truth in the bible.

2. BECAUSE HELL IS A PLACE OF AN EVERLASTING REQUEST OF MERCY.

(Luke 16:24)  "And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame."

This words was equivalent to a sincere request of "Please Help Me", begging for help of a very desperate soul in a very difficult and sad situation in hell.

3. BECAUSE HELL IS A PLACE OF AN EVERLASTING JUDGEMENT.

(Mark 9:44,46) "Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched."  v.46: "Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched."

Those lost and sinful souls suffered a horrible agony in the Lake of fire, which is the second death as what the bible repeated says in that verses, a very terrifying consequences for ignoring Christ as their Lord and Savior.

4. BECAUSE HELL IS A PLACE OF AN EVERLASTING SEPARATION WITH GOD.

(Luke 16:26) "And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence." Judgement in hell is an everlasting separation with God, God will remain in heaven forever, and the souls that rejected the Saviour Jesus Christ will be forever in hell.

(John 3:18, 36 ) "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."  v.36: "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."

This is the very sad truth in the bible for those lost sinners.

"Help Me" is the only word of a begging souls can express in hell. Christians can you help them now ... before it's too late? Now is the day of their salvation.......

(II Corinthians 6:2 ) "(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)"

(James 4:14 ) "Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

5. BECAUSE HELL IS THE DOCTRINE OF THE BIBLE THAT THE CHRISTIAN SHOULD ALWAYS WARN THE LOST PEOPLE AND BE SAVED.

* That HELL is real and not take it ligth for HELL is an everlasting judgement for all sinners to all who rejected to receive the Saviour Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour of their life.

( Ephesians 2:12 ) That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

* You can be saved now if you will receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour of your life.

Romans 10:9,13 [9]That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

[13]For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

* God bless you all always *
