[18]And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him.

b. The big problem today to many Christians they choose those people around them who are not godly and God-fearing them lead them to wrong direction that displease and.

* Demas choose to follow the Worldly Christians friends and follow their wrong step and doing like being worldliness.

( II Timothy 4:10 ) For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.

b. The big sad problem is Demas is known to be Church worker and influence those new Christians to follow his wrong steps.

c. Inside the local Church we can some inconsistent Church Christian that are following the steps of the Lord Jesus Christ.

 * Paul warns us not to go with and did not copy their bad testimony.

( Romans 16:17-18 ) [17]Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

[18]For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

* Paul warns the Christians to stay away or avoid them from those Christians that causes divisions inside the Church.

* Paul said that they are not serving the Lord Jesus Christ but their own belly or they are serving men, they are men pleasers.

a. What Paul was saying if he can follow Christ we can also. It is not impossible for the new and old believers to follow the steps of the Lord Jesus Christ.

b. Let's encourage more Believers of Christ to follow the steps of Christ and we are the good example of those people who in the light.

[20]For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

b. We are saved and called us with a holy calling of God the bible said.

[5]And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

a. The true Light John the Baptist said is not us because Christians have true Light that shine bright to the dark World but only Jesus Christ is the true Light and Life in our lives.

* We just let Christ shine in our life every time we walk a holy walk before God and man in this World.

( Matthew 5:14-16 ) [14]Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

[15]Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

a. Fulfilling the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus Christ is by reaching and winning lost people into all the World.

[27]And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,

[28]Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.

[29]Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

6. FOLLOWING THE STEPS OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS ON THE VICTORY SIDES AGAINST OUR SPIRITUAL ENEMY.

( 1 John 5:4-5 ) [4]For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

[5]Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

a. Christ promise of total victory in the life of every born-again Christian the bible said.

* God is greater and powerful than our spiritual enemy the devil that is in the World.

( 1 John 4:4 ) Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
