CHALLENGE TO FACE YEAR TO NUMBER OUR DAYS
IN 2025
(Psalms 90:12) So teach us to number our days,
that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
* Introduction
As we enter a new year, many of us set goals, make resolutions, and
reflect on the past.
* Psalm 90:12 reminds us to “number our days” and to use our time
wisely. Life is brief, and every day is a gift. The time we have is limited,
and how we spend it matters. In this new year, let us learn to value every
moment, seek God’s wisdom in our decisions, and live intentionally for His
glory.
* MULTIPLE REASONS TO CHRISTIANS TO NUMBER OUR DAYS TO
FACE 2025.
1. LET'S NUMBER OUR DAYS TO BE FAITHFUL TO WORSHIP GOD IN
LORD’S DAY.
( Psalms 122:1 ) I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into
the house of the LORD.
2. LET'S NUMBER OUR IN GIVING TIME TO MEDITATE GOD'S
WORDS IN OUR DAILY LIFE.
( Joshua 1:8 ) This book of the law shall not
depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that
thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then
thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
3. LET'S NUMBER OUR DAYS IN GIVING GOD OUR FIRST PRIORITY
IN CHRISTIAN LIFE.
( Mathew 6:33 ) But seek ye first the kingdom of
God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
* Priority in Praying to God.
( Psalms 5:3 ) My voice shalt thou hear in the
morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will
look up.
4. LET'S NUMBER OUR DAYS IN FAITHFULNESS SERVING GOD IN
OUR LIFE.
( Joshua 24:15 ) And if it seem evil unto you to
serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which
your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of
the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve
the LORD.
( Romans 12:7-11 ) [7]Or ministry, let us wait on our
ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
[8]Or he that exhorteth, on
exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth,
with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
[9]Let love be without
dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
[10]Be kindly affectioned one to
another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
[11]Not slothful in business;
fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
5. LET'S NUMBER OUR DAYS TO REACH OUR GOAL TO RAISE I
MILLION PESOS FOR THIS YEAR 2025.
( II Corinthians
9:6-8 ) [6]But
this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which
soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
[7]Every man according as he
purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for
God loveth a cheerful giver.
[8]And God is able to make all
grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things,
may abound to every good work:
* Macedonian Church gave themselves first to the Lord.
( II Corinthians
8:1-5 ) [1]Moreover,
brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of
Macedonia;
[2]How that in a great trial of
affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the
riches of their liberality.
[3]For to their power, I bear
record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves;
[4]Praying us with much intreaty
that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the
ministering to the saints.
[5]And this they did, not as we
hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of
God.
6. LET'S NUMBER OUR DAYS TO FOCUS ON WINNING LOST PEOPLE
AS MANY AS WE CAN.
( I Corinthians
9:19-22 ) [19]For
though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I
might gain the more.
[20]And unto the Jews I became as
a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the
law, that I might gain them that are under the law;
[21]To them that are without law,
as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,)
that I might gain them that are without law.
[22]To the weak became I as weak,
that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by
all means save some.
7. LET'S NUMBER OUR DAYS TO BE FAITHFUL AS WE WAIT FOR
THE SOON COMING OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
( Matthew 24:44-47 )
[44]Therefore
be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
[45]Who then is a faithful and
wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them
meat in due season?
[46]Blessed is that servant, whom
his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
[47]Verily I say unto you, That he
shall make him ruler over all his goods.
* God bless you all always *
