[Y] [PREACHING LESSON 20:] TESTIMONY OF THE CHRISTIAN IS NOT A TALENT OF THE CHRISTIAN BUT IT THE GRACE OF THAT WE ALLOW TO MOVE AND IN OUR CHRISTIAN LIFE.

TESTIMONY OF THE CHRISTIAN IS NOT A TALENT OF THE CHRISTIAN BUT IT THE GRACE OF THAT WE ALLOW TO MOVE AND IN OUR CHRISTIAN LIFE.

( I Corinthians 15: 10 ) But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

* ( II Corinthians 12:9 ) And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

* ( 1 Peter 5:10 ) But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

1. IT IS THE LIFE OF CHRIST IN US THAT WE DESIRE TO LIVE IT BY FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS.

( Galatians 2:20 ) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

2. IT IS THE GODLY LIFE OF THE CHRISTIAN THE RESULT OF OUR DAILY MEDITATION OF THE WORD OF GOD.

( Psalms 1:1-2 ) [1]Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

[2]But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

*( Joshua 1:8 ) This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

3. IT IS LIVING BY FAITH OF THE CHRISTIAN SHOWING OUR TOTAL OBEDIENCE TO GOD.

( Hebrews 11:6-8 ) [6]But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

[7]By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

[8]By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

4. IT IS THE LIFE OF THE CHRISTIAN PATERNED IN THE LIFE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

( 1 Peter 2:21 ) For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

* ( 1 Corinthians 11:1 ) Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

5. IT IS THE LIFE OF CHRIST THAT SHOWS HIS BURDEN FOR LOST PEOPLE TO BE SAVED.

( Matthew 9:35-36 ) [35]And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

[36]But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

* ( John 9:4-5 ) [4]I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

[5]As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

6. IT IS THE LIFE OF CHRISTIAN WITH TOTAL LIVING IN HOLINESS BEFORE GOD.

( I Peter 1:15-16 ) [15]But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

[16]Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

* ( II Timothy 2:21 ) [21]If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

7. IT IS THE LIFE OF THE CHRISTIAN ALWAYS BASE THEIR DAILY LIVING ACCORDING TO THE CONVICTION FROM THE WORD OF GOD.

( II Timothy 3:16-17 ) [16]All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

[17]That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

* God bless you all always *
