THE GREAT MESSAGE ON CHRISTMAS DAY IS EMMANUEL MEANS “GOD IS WITH US."

 

(Matthew 1:23) Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

* INTRODUCTION:

a. Jesus Christ is a spirit God that transformed in human flesh for the purpose of fulfilling the plan of God to pay the sin of the lost World.

( Matthew 1:21) And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

* Christ is a spirit God made flesh and dwell among us.

(John 1:14) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

b. God sent the Lord Jesus Christ to the World to be the  Saviour of lost sinners.

(Luke 2:10-11) [10]And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

[11]For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

c. God's desire for the lost sinners that all might be saved.

( Timothy 2:4) Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

1.JESUS IS WITH US TO SEEK AND TO SAVE THAT WHICH WAS LOST.

( Luke 19:10 ) For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

2. JESUS IS WITH US TO STRENGHTEN THE CHRISTIANS.

( Philippians 4:13 ) I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

3. JESUS IS WITH US TO SANCTIFIED GOD'S PEOPLE.

( I Corinthians 1:1-2 ) Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,

[2]Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of, Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

4. JESUS IS WITH US TO SUPPORT US TO LIVE BY FAITH LIKE HIM.

( Galatians:20 ) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

5. JESUS IS WITH US TO SATISFY US.

Psalms 107:9) For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.

6. JESUS IS WITH US TO SUPPRISE US AT HIS COMING.

( Mathew 24:44-47) [44]Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

[45]Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

[46]Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

[47]Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
