WHAT KNOW YE NOT THAT YOUR BODY IS
THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT "
(1 Corinthians
6:19-20) [19]What?
know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you,
which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
[20]For ye are bought with a
price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
1. THIS IS THE QUESTION TO CHRISTIAN WHO ARE NOT AWARE OF
THE PRESENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THEIR LIFE.
a. This the question to Christian use the body for the Worldly purpose
and not for a holy purpose.
b. Christian after God saved us He called us for a holy purpose and not
for Worldly purpose.
( 2 Timothy 1:9 ) Who hath saved us, and called us
with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own
purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
c. God gave us a serious commandment not to love the World.
( 1 John 2:15-17 ) [15]Love not the world, neither
the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the
Father is not in him.
[16]For all that is in the world,
the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not
of the Father, but is of the world.
[17]And the world passeth away,
and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
2. THIS IS THE QUESTION TO CHRISTIAN WHO DO NOT KNOW THAT
THE HOLY SPIRIT IS INDWELL IN THEIR LIFE WITH A GREAT PURPOSE OF FULFILLING THE
GREAT COMMISSION OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
( Acts 1:8 ) But ye shall receive power, after
that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in
Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of
the earth.
a. The Holy Spirit dwell in every individual believers of Christ to give
us power to witness the lost people. To fulfill the great commission of the
Lord Jesus Christ.
( Mathew 28:19-20) [19]Go ye therefore, and teach all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the
Holy Ghost:
[20]Teaching them to observe all
things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto
the end of the world. Amen.
b. Philip experience the working of the Holy Spirit to witness the Ethiopians Uenuch in the
wilderness.
Acts 8:26-30 [26]And the angel of the Lord
spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that
goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.
[27]And he arose and went: and,
behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of
the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to
Jerusalem for to worship,
[28]Was returning, and sitting in
his chariot read Esaias the prophet.
[29]Then the Spirit said unto
Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.
[30]And Philip ran thither to him,
and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou
readest?
c. Philip open his mouth and shared the Lord Jesus Christ to the
Ethiopians eunuch and got saved and followed the Lord in water baptism.
(Acts 8:34-38) [34]And the eunuch answered
Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself,
or of some other man?
[35]Then Philip opened his mouth,
and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
[36]And as they went on their way,
they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what
doth hinder me to be baptized?
[37]And Philip said, If thou
believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I
believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
[38]And he commanded the chariot
to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the
eunuch; and he baptized him.
3. THIS IS THE QUESTION TO CHRISTIANS WHO DO NOT KNOW
OTHER IMPORTANT WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THEIR CHRISTIAN LIFE.
( John 16:13-15 ) [13]Howbeit when he, the Spirit of
truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of
himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew
you things to come.
[14]He shall glorify me: for he
shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
[15]All things that the Father
hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it
unto you.
a. The Holy Spirit guide to rigth and will of God for the Christian to
pray.
( Romans 8:26 ) [26]Likewise the Spirit also
helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:
but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be
uttered.
b. The Holy Spirit testify that we are the Children of God.
( Romans 8:16-17 ) [16]The Spirit itself beareth
witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
[17]And if children, then heirs;
heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him,
that we may be also glorified together.
c. The Holy Spirit sealed us that time we accepted the Lord Jesus Christ
as our Lord and Saviour of our life.
( Ephesians1:13 ) In whom ye also trusted, after
that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also
after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
4. THIS IS THE QUESTION TO CHRISTIANS WHO DO NOT KNOW THE
MANY WORKS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THEIR CHRISTIAN LIFE.
a. The Holy Spirit gives us the fruits of the Holy Spirit in the of the
Christian.
( Galatians 5:22-23
) [22]But
the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness,
goodness, faith,
[23]Meekness, temperance: against
such there is no law.
b. The Holy Spirit guide and gives us an understanding from the Word of
God.
( John 16:13 ) [13]Howbeit when he, the Spirit of
truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of
himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew
you things to come.
c. The Holy Spirit teach us to have unity inside the local Church.
( Ephesians 4:3 ) Endeavouring to keep the unity of
the Spirit in the bond of peace.
d. The Holy Spirit to teach to live a sanctified life being the
believers of Christ.
( 1 Peter 1:2 ) Elect according to the
foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto
obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and
peace, be multiplied.
5. THIS IS THE QUESTION TO CHRISTIAN WHO DO NOT KNOW ALL
THE IMPORTANT DOCTRINE TO KNOW ABOU THE HOLY SPIRIT FROM THE WORD OF GOD.
( IITimothy 3:16-17
) [16]All
scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for
reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
[17]That the man of God may be
perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
a. The Holy Spirit is one of the Trinity of God.
(1 John 5:7) For there are three that bear
record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are
one.
b. The Holy Spirit is together with God the Father and the Lord Jesus
Christ in creation.
( Genesis 1:1-2 ) [1]In the beginning God created
the heaven and the earth.
[2]And the earth was without form,
and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God
moved upon the face of the waters.
c. The Holy Spirit are present during the baptism of the Lord Jesus
Christ.
( Matthew 3:16-17 ) [16]And Jesus, when he was
baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were
opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and
lighting upon him:
[17]And lo a voice from heaven,
saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
d. The Holy Spirit is mentioned in the great commission of the Lord
Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus
Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you

e. The Holy Spirit is the one working and moving and leading the Church
in our time.
( Luke 1:35 ) And the angel answered and said
unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest
shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of
thee shall be called the Son of God.
( John 14:16-17) [16]And I will pray the Father,
and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
[17]Even the Spirit of truth; whom
the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye
know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
