THE HEART OF CHRISTMAS IS GIVING THE LORD JESUS CHRIST THE CENTER OF
OUR CELEBRATION.
(Matthew
1:23-25) [23]Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall
bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being
interpreted is, God with us.
[24]Then
Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and
took unto him his wife:
[25]And
knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his
name JESUS.
1. WE CELABRATE THE LOVE GOD TO LOST
MANKIND BY GIVING JESUS CHRIST TO US AS
THE GREATEST GIFT AT CHRISTMAS.
(Luke
2:9-14) [9]And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them,
and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
[10]And
the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of
great joy, which shall be to all people.
[11]For
unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the
Lord.
[12]And
this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling
clothes, lying in a manger.
[13]And
suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising
God, and saying,
[14]Glory
to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
(Romans
6:23) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God
is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
2. WE CELABRATE THE LIGTH OF CHRIST
THE SHINETH TO THE DARK WORLD THAT BRING SALVATION TO ALL LOST MANKIND.
(
John 1:4-12 ) [4]In him was life; and the life was the light of
men.
[5]And the
light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
[6]There
was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
[7]The
same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him
might believe.
[8]He was
not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
[9]That
was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
[10]He was
in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
[11]He
came unto his own, and his own received him not.
[12]But as
many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to
them that believe on his name:
3. WE CELABRATE THE LIFE OF JESUS
CHRIST THAT BRING JOY TO ALL MANKIND AT CHRISTMAS.
(
Luke 2:9-14 ) [9]And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them,
and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
[10]And
the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of
great joy, which shall be to all people.
[11]For
unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the
Lord.
[12]And
this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling
clothes, lying in a manger.
[13]And
suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising
God, and saying,
[14]Glory
to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
4. WE CELABRATE THE LORD'S DESIRE FOR
ALL MANKIND TO BE SAVED.
(
I Timothy 2:4 ) Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto
the knowledge of the truth.
(
Acts 2:41 ) Then they that gladly received his word were
baptized: and the same day there were added unto them3 about three thousand
souls.
* So many souls being every day and added to the church.
(
Acts 5:46-47 ) [46]And they, continuing daily with one accord in
the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with
gladness and singleness of heart,
[47]Praising
God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church
daily such as should be saved.
5. WE CELABRATE VERY THE PURPOSE OF
CHRISTMAS IS FOR SALVATION OF MANY LOST PEOPLE.
(
Matthew 1:21) And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call
his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
* The very purpose of coming of the Lord Jesus Christ on
earth is to seek and to save that which was lost.
(
Luke 19:10 ) For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that
which was lost.
* God bless
you all always *
