LIVING THE LIFE OF THE CHRISTIAN ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE IN OUR
LIVES.
(2 Timothy 1:9) Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy
calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and
grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
*
INTRODUCTION:
* God made clear to the Christian
that after salvation experience that we have God have a plan not according to
our works or plan. But according to His plan and purpose in our lives.
1. GOD'S
PERFECT PLAN TO CHRISTIAN IS LIVE OUR LIFE ACCORDING TO THE EXAMPLE OF THE LORD
JESUS CHRIST.
(I Peter:2:21) For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ
also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
2. GOD'S
PERFECT PLAN TO CHRISTIAN TO LIVE A LIFE TO BE A LIGTH IN THIS DARK AND WICKED
WORLD.
(Mathew 5:16) Let your light so shine before men, that they may
see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
(John 1:4-9) [4]In him was life; and the life was the light of
men.
[5]And the light shineth in darkness; and the
darkness comprehended it not.
[6]There was a man sent from God, whose name was
John.
[7]The same came for a witness, to bear witness of
the Light, that all men through him might believe.
[8]He was not that Light, but was sent to bear
witness of that Light.
[9]That was the true Light, which lighteth every man
that cometh into the world.
3. GOD'S
PERFECT PLAN TO CHRISTIAN IS TO LIVE
FULFILLING THE GREAT COMMISSION OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
(Mathew 28:19-20) [19]Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy
Ghost:
[20]Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I
have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the
world. Amen.
4. GOD'S
PERFECT PLAN FOR THE CHRISTIAN IS TO LIVE WITH SPIRITUAL STRENGHT FACING OUR
ENEMY WITH GOD'S MIGTHY POWER.
(Ephesians 6:10-14) [10]Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and
in the power of his might.
[11]Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be
able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
[12]For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but
against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of
this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
[13]Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God,
that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to
stand.
[14]Stand therefore, having your loins girt about
with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
5. GOD'S
PERFECT PLAN TO CHRISTIAN IS TO SUPPORT THE MISSIONS PROGRAM OF THE CHURCH WITH
SACRIFICIAL GIVING OF THE CHRISTIANS.
(II Corinthians 8:1-5) [1]Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace
of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia;
[2]How that in a great trial of affliction the
abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their
liberality.
[3]For to their power, I bear record, yea, and
beyond their power they were willing of themselves;
[4]Praying us with much intreaty that we would
receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the
saints.
[5]And this they did, not as we hoped, but first
gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God.
* Paul also gave a good commendation
to Philippians Church for their faithfulness to support Missions.
(Philippians 4:15-19) [15]Now ye Philippians know also, that in the
beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated
with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.
[16]For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again
unto my necessity.
[17]Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit
that may abound to your account.
[18]But I have all, and abound: I am full, having
received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a
sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
[19]But my God shall supply all your need according
to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
6. GOD'S
PERFECT PLAN IS TO LIVE THEIR CHRISTIAN LIFE FAITHFULLY TILL JESUS CHRIST COMES
BACK.
(Philippians 1:5-6) [5]For your fellowship in the gospel from the first
day until now;
[6]Being confident of this very thing, that he which
hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
(Mathew 24:45-47) [45]Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom
his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
[46]Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he
cometh shall find so doing.
[47]Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him
ruler over all his goods.
* To God be the glory *
