CHRISTIAN LIFE WORTH LIVING BASE IN THE WORD
OF GOD.
( Colossians 1:10-12
) [10]That
ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every
good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
[11]Strengthened with all might,
according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with
joyfulness;
[12]Giving thanks unto the Father,
which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in
light:
1. LIVING OUR CHRISTIAN LIFE TO PLEASE AND GLORIFY GOD IN
OUR LIFE.
(Colossians 1:10) That ye might walk worthy of the
Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in
the knowledge of God;
2. LIVING OUR CHRISTIAN LIFE WITH SPIRITUAL FRUITS
THROUGH OUR GOOD WORKS.
(Colossians 1:10) That ye might walk worthy of the
Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in
the knowledge of God;
3. LIVING OUR CHRISTIAN LIFE IN INCREASING WITH THE
KNOWLEDGE OF GOD.
(Colossians 1:10) That ye might walk worthy of the
Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in
the knowledge of God;
* Attending our Sunday School will increase your knowledge and wisdom of
God.
(Colossians 1:9) For this cause we also, since the
day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be
filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual
understanding;
4. LIVING OUR CHRISTIAN LIFE WITH SPIRITUAL STRENGHT AND
POWER FROM GOD.
(Colossians 1:11) Strengthened with all might,
according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with
joyfulness;
* We need the power and strength from God to face our spiritual enemy
the Devil.
(Ephesians 6:10-12) [10]Finally, my brethren, be
strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
[11]Put on the whole armour of
God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
[12]For we wrestle not against
flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers
of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
5. LIVING OUR CHRISTIAN LIFE WITH ALL PATIENCE AND
LONGSUFFERING WITH JOYFULNESS.
(Colossians 1:11) Strengthened with all might,
according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with
joyfulness;
* God is glorified when the face their spiritual crisis with patience
and longsuffering and joyfulness.
(I Peter 4:13-16) [13]But rejoice, inasmuch as ye
are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed,
ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
[14]If ye be reproached for the
name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon
you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
[15]But let none of you suffer as
a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's
matters.
[16]Yet if any man suffer as a
Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
* God is glorified if we face our spiritual battles with joyfulness God
or He is glorified. The Bible said.
6. LIVING OUR CHRISTIAN LIFE WITH THANKFULNESS TO GOD ALL
MIGTHY.
(Colossians 1:12-13 [12]Giving thanks unto the Father,
which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in
light:
[13]Who hath delivered us from the
power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
( I Thessalonians
5:18) In every
thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
7. LIVING OUR CHRISTIAN LIFE IN WINNING LOST PEOPLE IS
WORTH LIVING AND THE ANGLES IN HEAVEN BEFORE GOD REJOICING FOR ONE SINNER
REPENT THEIR SIN AND BE SAVED.
(Luke 15:3-7) [3]And he spake this parable unto
them, saying,
[4]What man of you, having an
hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in
the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
[5]And when he hath found it, he
layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
[6]And when he cometh home, he
calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me;
for I have found my sheep which was lost.
[7]I say unto you, that likewise
joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety
and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
* To God be the glory *
