[U] [PREACHING LESSON 14:] GOD'S PERFECT AND WONDROUS WORK TO A MISSION MINDED CHURCH IN TIMES OF THEIR DEEP NEEDS.

GOD'S PERFECT AND WONDROUS WORK TO A MISSION-MINDED CHURCH IN TIMES OF THEIR DEEP NEEDS.

( Hebrews 4:16 ) Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

* INTRODUCTION:

a. The good and blessed promises of God to faithful Christians are very clear in the Word of God and this is a big encouragement to all Christian to choose to be faithful before God.

* ( Proverbs 28:20 ) A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.

b. So if you are new Christian and already baptized this is big challenge to you that you goal to be faithful to God. Because God is always with you even in good time or in bad time. Like what happened in the life of Job. That in the time of deep trials God support him and Job do not feel that he is alone even though his wife does not support him but instead he was rejected and asked him not to continue to trust God.

( Job 2:9-10 ) 9 Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.

10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

* Even all the close friends of Job unfriend him instead to support him in time of his trials and trouble. His friends rebuked him and put him to shame

( Job 4:1-5 ) 1 Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said,

2 If we assay to commune with thee, wilt thou be grieved? but who can withhold himself from speaking?

3 Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands.

4 Thy words have upholden him that was falling, and thou hast strengthened the feeble knees.

5 But now it is come upon thee, and thou faintest; it toucheth thee, and thou art troubled.

5 GREAT GOD'S WONDROUS AND PERFECT SUPPPORT TO A MISSION-MINDED CHURCH IN TIMES OF THEIR DEEP NEEDS.

1.GOD ANSWERS THE PRAYERS OF THE MISSION-MINDED CHURCH IN TIMES OF THEIR DEEP NEEDS.

( Hebrews 4:16 ) Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

a. Take note the promise of this bible verse to the faithful Christians. " That we may obtain mercy, and find grace in time need "

b. I remember king David that he was positive to receive help from God in times of his needs.

( Psalms 121:1-8 ) 1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.

6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

c. Paul believed that the faithful Christians shall supply all their needs

( Philippians 4:19 ) 19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

d. Church or Christians God is always excited and interested to answer the prayers of the faithful Christians

* Remember the prayer of Jabez?

( I Chronicles 4:10 ) And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

2.GOD DIRECT THE STEP OF THE MISSION-MINDED CHURCH TO FULFILL THEIR DEEP NEEDS.

( Psalms 37:23 ) The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

a. God knows our enemy the Devil will always hinder us not to walk a righteous. But God promise the faithful Christians to direct our path in a daily basis.

( Psalms 119:11 ) 11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

( Psalms 119:105 ) 105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

c. Christian we need to ask God direct our daily walk and the Word of God is our perfect guidance in our daily walk.

( Psalms 1:1-3 ) 1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

e. We have the guidance of the Holy Spirit in our daily walk.

( John 16:13 ) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

f. Paul believe that the perfect walk of the Christian is to walk by faith and not by sight.

( II Corinthian 5:7 ) (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

g. Our great men and women in the Old Testament walk by faith and they were Victorious in their generation.

( Hebrews 11: 32-33 ) 32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:

33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,

* God always direct the step of the faithful Christians.

( Psamls 37:23 ) The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

3. GOD TRUST THE MISSION-MINDED CHURCH OF MANY PRECIOUS SOULS TO BE SAVED IN MISSION WORK.

( II Timothy 2:1-2 ) 1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

a. Paul gave serious advice to Timothy to choose faithful Christians for the Soulwinners of Christ.

b. Paul believed that the faithful Christians deserve to be the Soulwinners of Christ. Because soulwinners called the Ambassadors of Christ.

( II Corinthians 5: 19-20 ) 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

* Ambassadors of Christ are acting or doing the most important job that only faithful Christians are the one deserve to do it. To reconcile the lost sinners to Christ the Redeemer and the only Savior Jesus Christ.

c. Paul is our good model for being an Ambassador of Christ to lost people.

( I Corinthians 9:19-22 ) 19 For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.

20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;

21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.

22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

( Psalms 91:5-6) 5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

e. The Lord send His legions of Angels to protect from those evil spirit that will attack him.

( Psalms 91:7-8 ) 7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.

4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.

5 The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.

6 Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel.!
