IN TIMES WE CHRISTIANS FACE DEEP TRIALS
IN LIFE
(Philippians 4:13) I can do all things through Christ
which strengtheneth me.
1. THE MORE WE
NEED TO COME TO GOD IN PRAYER.
Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto
the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time
of need.
2. THE MORE WE
NEED TO PUT OUR HOPE IN GOD.
(Colossians 1:27) To whom God would make known what
is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ
in you, the hope of glory:
3. THE MORE WE NEED TO EXPECT GOD'S MERCY IN OUR LIVES.
(Lamentations
3:22-23) [22]It is
of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail
not.
[23]They are new every morning:
great is thy faithfulness.
4. THE MORE WE NEED WE NEED TO BE STRONG IN CHRISTIAN
LIFE.
(Ephesians 6:10) [10]Finally, my brethren, be
strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
5. THE MORE WE NEED TO NEED TO BE UNITED IN THE FAMILY
AND CHURCH.
(Psalms 133;1-3) [1](A Song of degrees of David.)
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in
unity!
[2]It is like the precious
ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that
went down to the skirts of his garments;
[3]As the dew of Hermon, and as
the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded
the blessing, even life for evermore.
6. THE MORE YOU OBEY GOD TO FULFILL THE GREAT COMMISSION
OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
(I Corinthians
9:19-22) [19]For
though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I
might gain the more.
[20]And unto the Jews I became as
a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the
law, that I might gain them that are under the law;
[21]To them that are without law,
as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,)
that I might gain them that are without law.
[22]To the weak became I as weak,
that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by
all means save some.
* Conclusion:
We give God all the glory for victory
in facing trials in Christian life.
