stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to
day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no

had compare to them and that their only choice is to put their trust and hope
in God.

2. THE GREAT CHALLENGE TO STAND STILL AND WAIT ON GOD'S
SUFFICIENT GRACE PREPARE FOR GOD'S PEOPLE.
(II Corinthians
12:9) And he
said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect
in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that
the power of Christ may rest upon me.
a. Paul faced a great trial in his life and he prayed to God for a
perfect healing of his sickness but God did not answer but God said to him that
the grace of God is sufficient for him. The grace is his strength in times
weakness God said. So, we can say that Paul can claim the grace of God to be
his stronghold in times of deepest problem in his life.
b. The grace of God made the life of Paul always victorious and fruitful
and firmly testify to us that the grace of God is not in vain in his Christian
life.
( I Corinthians
15:10 ) But by the
grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not
in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace
of God which was with me.
c. God is the God of all grace and in times of weakness and
discouragement. The God of all grace strengthens us and revives us in our
Christian life.
(IPeter 5:10) But the God of all grace, who hath
called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a
while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
d. The grace of God brings great revival to Church and bring great joy
in the work of the Lord.

Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.
23.Who, when he came, and had seen
the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart
they would cleave unto the Lord.
3. THE GREAT CHALLENGE TO STAND STILL AND WAIT FOR GOD'S
MERCY AND HIS FAITHFULNESS FOR GOD'S PEOPLE.
Lamentations
3:21-23) This I
recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.
It is of the LORD'S mercies that
we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning: great
is thy faithfulness.
a. The Mercy of God is always available for His Children and His
endureth forever, God said.
( Psalms 118:1-6 ) 1. O give thanks unto the LORD;
for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.
2.Let Israel now say, that his
mercy endureth for ever.
3.Let the house of Aaron now say,
that his mercy endureth for ever.
4.Let them now that fear the LORD
say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
5.I called upon the LORD in
distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.
6.The LORD is on my side; I will
not fear: what can man do unto me?
a. We can always count on God's Mercy in times we face great
difficulties in our Christian life.
b. King David always call upon the Lord and right away, He is on our
side.
c. In times of distress King David will call upon God and there is
always an answer to him.
d. King David experienced that God will put him in a large place. This
means a very convenient place.
( Psalms 118:5) I called upon the LORD in
distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.
d. King David experience that God will put him in a large place. This
means a very convenient place.
( Psalms 118:5) I called upon the LORD in
distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.
e. We count on God's faithfulness. Even though we are not faithful God
said He is always faithful to us His Children. He never changes.
( Psalms 89:1-2) 1. I will sing of the mercies of
the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all
generations.
2.For I have said, Mercy shall be
built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.
* The Faithfulness of God is all generation and His faithfulness is
stablishing in heaven. Amen and amen. We can count on God's faithfulness and
His great Mercy.
4. THE GREAT CHALLENGE TO STAND STILL AND WAIT FOR GOD'S
GREAT GOODNESS READY TO GIVE TO GOD'S PEOPLE.
Psalms 145:7 ) They shall abundantly utter the
memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.
a. The great goodness of God showed to God’s people as Father and we His
dear children. God is very responsible Father to us that do not sleep just
protect us from any troubles that will come to us. He does not sleep and
slumber just to take care for us safely.
( Psalms 121:1-8 ) 1 I will lift up mine eyes unto
the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the LORD,
which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to
be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel
shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD
is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6 The sun shall not smite thee by
day, nor the moon by night.
7 The LORD shall preserve thee
from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8 The LORD shall preserve thy
going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
b. The goodness God always express by lovingkindness to us always.
( Psalms 36:7-10 ) 7 How excellent is thy
lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the
shadow of thy wings.
8 They shall be abundantly
satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the
river of thy pleasures.
9 For with thee is the fountain of
life: in thy light shall we see light.
10 O continue thy lovingkindness
unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.
5.THE CHALLENGE TO STAND STILL AND WAIT FOR GOD'S WORKING
AND MOVING TO GIVE REVIVAL IN THE MIDST OF THE CHURCH.
(Acts 11:19-23) 19. Now they which were scattered
abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as
Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews
only.
20And some of them were men of
Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the
Grecians, preaching the Lord Jesus.
21.And the hand of the Lord was
with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.
22.Then tidings of these things
came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth
Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.
23.Who, when he came, and had seen
the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart
they would cleave unto the Lord.
24.For he was a good man, and full
of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.
a. The face a great treath and persecution in their. But still they
continue preaching and sharing the gospel of Christ. Because they believe God
was them.
b. The evidence of revival that the Church experienced is in verse 21.
That the Hand of God was with them. Church we need the Hand always moving and
working in the midst of the local Church.
( John 15:5) Christ said to His Church "
For without Me you can do nothing."
c. We need the grace of God to assure revival in the midst of our
Church.
( Acts 11: 23-24 ) Acts 11:23 Who, when he came, and
had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose
of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.
Acts 11:24 For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and
much people was added unto the Lord.
d. The great results of revival of the Church in verse ( 24.) * Much
people were added unto the Lord." Praise and be to God.
e. Revival never stop in the midst of the Church because the Church are
very courageous to share the gospel of Christ even they were imprisoned still
they continue preaching and sharing the gospel of Christ.
(Acts 5:17-20) Acts 5:17 Then the high priest
rose up, and all they that were with him, ( which is the sect of the
Sadducees,) and were filled with indignation,
Acts 5:18 And laid their hands on the apostles, and put them in the common
prison.
Acts 5:19 But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and
brought them forth, and said,
Acts 5:20 Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this
life.
* Nobody can stop them to preach and share the gospel of Christ. Lastly
in verse Acts 5: 26-29)
( Acts 5:26-29 ) Then went the captain with the
officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest
they should have been stoned.
27.And when they had brought them,
they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,
28.Saying, Did not we straitly
command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled
Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.
29.Then Peter and the other
apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
f. Revival in the midst of the Church seen in the dynamic growth of the
Church.
( Acts 6:4-7 ) Acts 6:4 But we will give
ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
Acts 6:5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a
man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and
Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:
Acts 6:6 Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid
[their] hands on them.
Acts 6:7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples
multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were
obedient to the faith.
* The Church are consistent and united in prayer and consistent in the
ministry of the Word. They do not stop in house-to-house bible study.
4 But we will give ourselves
continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
5 And the saying pleased the whole
multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost,
and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a
proselyte of Antioch:
* The Lord bless the Church of godly leaders inside the local Church. We
need more godly and Godfearing leaders inside the local Church.
6 Whom they set before the
apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.
* Dynamic growth of the Church is clear evidence of the revival of the
Church . These more precious souls being saved are multiplied. In ( Acts 2:41 )
there were 3000 souls being saved and baptised.
7 And the word of God increased;
and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great
company of the priests were obedient to the faith.
( Acts 4:4 ) About 5000 souls being saved. In ( Acts 5:42 ) the Church
members do not stop in daily worshipping and soulwinning the bible said.
( Acts 5:42 ) 42 And daily in the temple, and in
every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
* When God said STAND STILL
1. THE CHURCH STAND STILL AND WAIT FOR GOD'S PERFECT PROTECTION FOR THE
CHURCH.
2. THE CHURCH STAND STILL AND WAIT FOR SUFFICIENT GRACE PREPARED BY GOD
TO HIS CHURCH.
3.THE CHURCH STAND STILL AND WAIT GOD'S MERCY AND HIS FAITHFULLNESS FOR
HIS PEOPLE.
4. THE CHURCH STAND STILL AND WAIT FOR GOD'S GREAT GOODNESS READY FOR
HIS DEAR CHILDREN.
5. THE CHURCH STAND STILL AND WAJT FOR GOD'S WORKING AND MOVING TO GIVE
REVIVAL IN THE MIDST OF THE CHURCH.
( Acts 11: 21-23 ) 21 And the hand of the Lord was
with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.
22 Then tidings of these things
came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth
Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.
23 Who, when he came, and had seen
the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart
they would cleave unto the Lord.
God bless you all always
