[T] [PREACHING LESSON 11:] THE BURDEN FOR LOST PEOPLE IS ALWAYS THE BURDEN OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

THE BURDEN FOR LOST PEOPLE IS ALWAYS THE BURDEN OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

"WHEN HE SAW THE MULTITUDES, HE WAS MOVED WITH COMPASSION ON THEM."

(Matthew 9:35-38 ) 35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;

38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

“THE GREAT EVIDENCE OF THE BURDEN OF CHRIST FOR ALL SINNERS TO SINNERS. "

1. THE GREAT REASON WHY CHRIST CAME DOWN ON EARTH IS FOR HIS BURDEN FOR SINNERS TO BE SAVED.

( Luke 19:10 ) For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

2. THE GREAT REASON WHY CHRIST ESTABLISH THE CHURCH ON THE PLANET IS FOR HIS BURDEN FOR SINNERS TO BE SAVED.

( Mathew 16:18 ) And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

( Mathew 28:19-20 ) 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

3. THE GREAT REASON WHY CHRIST HOLD HIS BIBLE STUDY IN CAPERNAUM IS FOR HIS BURDEN FOR SINNERS TO BE SAVED.

4. THE GREAT REASON WHY CHRIST VISIT AT JACOB'S WELL IS FOR HIS BURDEN FOR SINNERS TO BE SAVED.

( John 4:4-15 ) 4 And he must needs go through Samaria.

5 Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.

6 Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.

7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.

8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)

9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.

10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?

12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?

13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:

14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.

5. THE GREAT REASON WHY CHRIST ENCOURAGES HIS DISCIPLE TO LOOK ON THE FIELD FOR THEY ARE WHITE ALREADY TO HARVEST IS FOR HIS BURDEN FOR SINNERS TO BE SAVED.

( John 4:35 ) Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

6. THE GREAT REASON WHY CHRIST VISIT THE HOUSE OF ZACCHAEUS IS FOR HIS BURDEN FOR SINNERS TO BE SAVED.

( Luke 19:1-9 ) 1 And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho.

2 And, behold, there was a man named Zacchæus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich.

3 And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature.

4 And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.

5 And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchæus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.

6 And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.

7 And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.

8 And Zacchæus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.

9 And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.

7. THE GREAT REASON WHY CHRIST ASKED PRAYER TO HIS DISCIPLE FOR MORE LABOURERS FOR THE HARVEST IS FOR THE BURDEN FOR SINNERS TO BE SAVED.

( Mathew 9:37-38 ) 37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;

38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

8. THE GREAT REASON WHY CHRIST GAVE THE GREAT COMMISSION TO HIS CHURCH TO FULLFIL IT IS FOR SINNERS TO BE SAVED.

( Mathews 28:19-20 ) 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

9. THE REASON WHY CHRIST PROMISE ON HIS SECOND COMING IS FOR SINNERS TO BE SAVED.

( Mathew 24: 45-47 ) 45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

* God bless you all always *
