THE LIFE OF THE CHRISTIAN THAT IS WORTH LIVING BEFORE GOD
(
Hebrews 11:6-8 ) 6. But without faith it is impossible to please him:
for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of
them that diligently seek him.
7.By faith
Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared
an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and
became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
8.By faith
Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after
receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he
went.
1. THIS IS A LIVING WITH FAITH TO
GOD.
(

2. THIS IS A LIVING WITH FEAR TO GOD.

Psalms 128:1-4 ) 1. Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that
walketh in his ways.
2.For thou
shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well
with thee.
3.Thy wife
shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like
olive plants round about thy table.
4.Behold,
that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.
3. THIS IS A LIVING WITH PRAISING AND
GLORIFYING GOD.
(
Colossians 1:10 ) 10. That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all
pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of
God;
4. THIS IS A LIVING WITH GREAT
CONCERN FOR THE SALVATION OF LOST PEOPLE.
(
Romans 10:1 ) 1. Brethren,
my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
5. THIS IS A LIVING WITH FAITHFULNESS
IN WORSHIPPING GOD IN LORD'S DAY.
(
Acts 2:46-47 ) 46. And they, continuing daily with one accord in
the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with
gladness and singleness of heart,
47.Praising
God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church
daily such as should be saved.
6. THIS IS A LIVING WITH TOTAL
SACRIFICE IN GIVING TO SUPPORT MISSIONS.
(
II Corinthians 8:1-5 ) 1. Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace
of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia;
2.How that
in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep
poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality.
For to
their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of
themselves;
3.Praying
us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the
fellowship of the ministering to the saints.
4.And this
they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and
unto us by the will of God.
(
Philippians 4:15-16 ) 15. Now ye Philippians know also, that in the
beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated
with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.
16.For
even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.
7. THIS IS A LIVING WITH LOVE AND OBEDIENCE
TO GOD.
(
Hebrews 11:8 ) By faith Abraham,z when he was called to go out into

(
John 14:15 ) 15. If ye love me, keep my commandments.
8. THIS IS A LIVING WITH FAITHFULNESS
SERVING GOD WHILE WAITING FOR THE COMING OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
(
Mathew 24:45-47 ) 45.Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his
lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46.Blessed
is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47.Verily
I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
