GOD GAVE YOU AND ME A BONUS LIFE: LIVE IT WORTHILY
AND PLEASINGLY BEFORE HIM
(Psalms 92:12–14) 12 The
righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in
Lebanon.
13 Those that be planted in the house of the LORD
shall flourish in the courts of our God.
14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age;
they shall be fat and flourishing;
(Colossians 1:10) That ye
might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good
work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Reaching 70 years of age
while continuing to serve the Lord faithfully is a clear sign that we are
living in a "BONUS LIFE GIVEN BY GOD ALMIGHTY." This is a powerful
manifestation that He trusts us with His great ministry, as the Bible says:
(Psalms 111:2–4) 2 The works
of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.
3 His work is honourable and glorious: and his
righteousness endureth for ever.
4 He hath made his wonderful works to be
remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.
GREAT ENCOURAGEMENT FOR GOD'S SERVANTS WHO REACH 70 YEARS
OF AGE IN HIS MINISTRY:
1. LET US PROTECT OUR BONUS LIFE THROUGH CONSTANT PRAYER
TO GOD.
(1 Thessalonians 5:17) Pray
without ceasing.
2. LET US PROTECT OUR BONUS LIFE THROUGH GREAT HUMILITY
BEFORE GOD.
(1 Peter 5:6) Humble
yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due
time:
3. LET
US PROTECT OUR BONUS LIFE BY DEVOTING TIME TO MEDITATING ON THE WORD OF GOD
DAILY.
(Joshua 1:8) This book
of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein
day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written
therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have
good success.
4. LET
US PROTECT OUR BONUS LIFE BY MAKING GOD OUR TOP PRIORITY ON A DAILY BASIS.
(Matthew 6:33) But seek ye
first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be
added unto you.
5. LET US USE OUR GOD-GIVEN BONUS LIFE BY FAITHFULLY
FULFILLING THE GREAT COMMISSION OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
(Matthew 28:19–20) 19 Go ye
therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and
of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever
I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the
world. Amen.
6. LET US USE OUR GOD-GIVEN BONUS LIFE BY BEING FILLED
WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT.
(Acts 1:8) But ye
shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall
be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and
unto the uttermost part of the earth.
7. LET US USE OUR GOD-GIVEN BONUS LIFE BY PLANTING MORE
MISSIONS IN THE REGIONS BEYOND.
(Acts 16:9–10) 9 And a
vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and
prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.
10 And after he had seen the vision, immediately
we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had
called us for to preach the gospel unto them.
8. LET US USE OUR GOD-GIVEN BONUS LIFE BY TRAINING AND
ENCOURAGING MORE CHRISTIANS TO WIN THE LOST EVERY DAY, AT ANY COST.
(John 4:35) Say not ye,
There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you,
Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to
harvest.
9. LET US USE GOD'S BONUS LIFE BY GIVING HIM MUCH THANKS
ON A DAILY BASIS.
(1 Thessalonians 5:18) In every
thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
10. LET US USE GOD'S BONUS LIFE BY PRAISING AND
GLORIFYING HIM FOR ALL THE SMALL AND GREAT BLESSINGS WE ENJOY.
(1 Corinthians 6:19–20) 19 What?
know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you,
which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore
glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
Conclusion:

God deserves all the glory,
for we were bought with a price. Let us give Him all the praise and honor. Amen
