[R] [PREACHING LESSON 19:] THE GREAT COST OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST AND IT REQUIRES THE GREAT CAUSE or (Reason) TO FULLFIL THE GREAT COMMISSION OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST WITH FAITHFULNESS.

THE GREAT COST OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST AND IT REQUIRES THE GREAT CAUSE or (Reason) TO FULLFIL THE GREAT COMMISSION OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST W FAITHFULNESS.

 

*Introduction: The Cost for God to send His only begotten Son to send to earth and die for the sin of lost mankind.

( John 3:16 ) The great cost on the part of God the Father is by giving His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to pay the sin of Mankind on the cross of Calvary.

A. The great salvation is the great cost of the gospel of Christ that we enjoy now after we received Christ as our Lord and Saviour of our life.

(Hebrews 2:3)  How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

B. The great hope of glory that we have from God because we the gospel of Christ in our heart.

(Colossians 1:27) To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

C. The forgiveness of sin that we have from God and He will not remember no more of our sin is the great cost of the gospel of that we enjoy.

(Hebrews 10:17) And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

D. The peace of God that we enjoy after we received the gospel of Christ is the great cost that we enjoy.

The challenge of our lesson for tonight the Great Cause or Great Reason to fulfill the great commission of the Lord Jesus Christ with faithfulness of God's people.

 The Cause is now on the part of God's people to go to the regions beyond and preach the gospel of Christ to the lost World.

( Mathew 28:19-20) 19.Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20.Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

( Acts 16:8-10 ) 8.And they passing byd Mysia came down to Troas.

9.And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.

10.And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.

 

1. IT REQUIRES IMMEDIATE OR URGENT ACTION TO REACH THE LOST AT ANY COST.

 

( Acts 16:9-10 ) 9.And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.

10.And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.

a. It requires urgent action on the part of the local Church to rescue the sinful world from sure judgement from hell fire forever.

b. This should be our great action after we have seen the Vision for Missions.

c. There was a great need of quick response to rescue those lost people in the Mission field.

" Come over into Macedonia and help us."

(Acts 16:9)  And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.

d. So many Missions field that are asking help to rescue them from the sure judgement in hell.

(Jude23) And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

* This is now the first reason an urgent action is needed to rescue the lost from sure judgement in hell.

 

2.IT REQUIRES READINESS AND COURAGEOUSNESS TO PREACH THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST TO THE WORLD.

 

( Romans 1:15-16 ) 15. So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.

16.For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

a. Paul was always ready to preach the gospel of Christ as the great cause in order to fulfill the great commission of the Lord Jesus to lost World.

b. Peter also are with the same conviction for being ready always with humbleness in sharing the gospel of Christ to lost people in their time.

(I Peter 3:15) But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

b. To be ready always in reaching the lost at any cost at any time and at any place.

*We need to train our Church members in effective Soulwinning consistently. If your Church members are not committed yet in soulwinning. Encouragement all our church leaders to assign them in effective Soulwinning Training.

c. Prepare the needs of effective Tracts. If your Church have enough budget to buy good brand of colored printers buy. Print more tracts everyday so that our Soulwinners are always ready to go to win souls. Amen!!!
