TRUE FAITH
IN JESUS CHRIST SAVES THE SOULS OF THE LOST
Ephesians 2:8–9 [8] For by
grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of
God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Acts 16:29–31 [29] Then
he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before
Paul and Silas, [30] And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be
saved? [31] And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be
saved, and thy house.
Romans 10:9 That if
thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine
heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
THE MULTIPLE SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS OF TRUE FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST
1. TRUE FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST TRANSFORMS THE LIFE OF THE CHRISTIAN
(2 Corinthians 5:17)
Therefore
if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away;
behold, all things are become new.

The Samaritan Woman: An adulterous woman transformed into
an effective witness and soul-winner for Jesus Christ.
(John 4:4–34)
·
Paul: The self-described "chief of
sinners" transformed into a faithful and fruitful missionary for the Lord.
(1 Corinthians 9:19–22)
·
Peter: After denying Jesus three times, he
was restored to become a bold evangelist at Pentecost.
(Acts 2:36–41)
2. TRUE FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST
CONFORMS US TO HIS IMAGE
(1 Peter 2:21) For even hereunto were ye called:
because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should
follow his steps:

The Disciples' Testimony: Others recognized that the disciples
lived according to the example of Jesus Christ.
(Acts 4:13) Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John,
and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and
they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

Walking in the Light: Living like Jesus means letting our
light shine before others.
(Matthew 5:16) Let your light so shine before men, that they may
see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
3. TRUE FAITH LEADS BELIEVERS TO
FAITHFUL WORSHIP
(Acts 2:46–47) [46] And they, continuing daily
with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat
their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, [47] Praising God, and having
favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as
should be saved.

Faithful Gathering: True believers do not forsake
worshipping and assembling together.
(Hebrews 10:25) Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together,
as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as
ye see the day approaching.
4. TRUE FAITH PROVIDES FULL
SUFFICIENCY AND SUPPORT IN CHRIST
(Colossians 2:10) And ye are complete in him, which
is the head of all principality and power:

Guiding Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit fills the believer's
life with spiritual help and guidance.
(John 16:13) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he
will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but
whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to
come.
5. TRUE FAITH BRINGS COMFORT IN TIMES
OF TRIALS AND TROUBLES
