[QQ] [PREACHING LESSON 12:] THE BIBLE VERSE THAT ALWAYS WORKS TOGETHER FOR GOOD TO THEM THAT LOVE GOD, PUT THEIR FAITH IN GOD, AND BRING GLORY TO HIS NAME

THE BIBLE VERSE THAT ALWAYS WORKS TOGETHER FOR GOOD TO THEM THAT LOVE GOD, PUT THEIR FAITH IN GOD, AND BRING GLORY TO HIS NAME

(Romans 8:28) "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

6 GREAT THINGS CONCERNING THE FAITH OF A CHRISTIAN THAT WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD AND BRING GLORY TO GOD

1. THE TRIALS OF YOUR FAITH IN GOD WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD TO TEST AND STRENGTHEN OUR FAITH, BRINGING GLORY AND PLEASING GOD.

(Colossians 1:10) "That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;"

The strong faith of God's people always touches the heart of God.

(Hebrews 11:32–40) The Bible teaches that the faith of Christians is much more precious than gold.

(1 Peter 1:7) "That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:"

(Hebrews 11:6–8) Hebrews 11:6 "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

Hebrews 11:7 "By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith."

Hebrews 11:8 "By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went."

2. TALENTS RECEIVED FROM GOD AND USED IN THE MINISTRY OF THE LORD'S WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD IN FAITHFUL SERVICE TO OUR GREAT GOD.

Believers are equipped to serve in the ministry of the Lord effectively and fruitfully.

(Ephesians 4:11–16)

Every Christian in the local church matures to become a blessing in the ministry through their God-given spiritual gifts.

(Romans 12:6–11) Romans 12:6 "Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;"

Romans 12:7 "Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;"

Romans 12:8 "Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness."

Romans 12:9 "Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good."

Romans 12:10 "Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;"

Romans 12:11 "Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;"

3. TIME SPENT IN WINNING LOST PEOPLE WORKS TOGETHER FOR GOOD TO REACH THE LOST AT ANY COST.

The Jerusalem Church is a great example of a local church that dedicated time daily to winning lost souls for the Lord's work.

(Acts 2:36–41)

Through dedicated time spent sharing the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, 3,000 souls were saved in a single day.

(Ephesians 5:16) "Redeeming the time, because the days are evil."

The Lord Jesus Christ is our prime example of devoting time to win the lost.

(John 9:4–5) John 9:4 "I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work."

John 9:5 "As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world."

4. TEARS SHED IN UNCEASING PRAYER WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD TO ASSURE GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN THE LORD.

The key for the Jerusalem Church in reaching and winning multitudes was persistent prayer with humility and tears.

(Acts 20:19–24)

Sowing in tears assures a great harvest.

(Psalm 126:2–3) Psalm 126:2 "Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them."

Psalm 126:3 "The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad."

5. TRAINING MORE LABOURERS FOR THE HARVEST WORKS TOGETHER FOR GOOD TO ASSURE A GREATER HARVEST IN THE MISSION FIELD.

The Lord Jesus Christ emphasized the great need to train more labourers for the harvest.

Christ challenged His disciples to lift up their eyes and look on the fields, for they are white already to harvest.

(John 4:35)

(Luke 10:1–3)

Christ appointed 70 soul winners and sent them out two by two into every city.

Luke 10:1 "After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come."

Luke 10:2 "Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest."

Luke 10:3 "Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves."

Jesus instructed His disciples to pray for more labourers.

(Matthew 9:37–38) Matthew 9:37 "Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;"

Matthew 9:38 "Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest."

6. MATERIAL TREASURES LIBERALLY GIVEN TO GOD WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD TO SUPPLY THE NEEDS OF THE LORD'S MINISTRY.

Giving reflects the concern and active support of Christians for the work of the Lord.

Believers willingly support the ministry to reach the whole world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

(2 Corinthians 9:6–8) 2 Corinthians 9:6 "But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully."

2 Corinthians 9:7 "Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver."

2 Corinthians 9:8 "And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:"

God bless you all always.
