( Luke 22:24-27 ) 24 And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest26 But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve..

26 But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve26 But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve..

* 5 GREAT LESSONS TO LEARN FROM OUR TOPIC.

1. CHRIST IS OUR PRIME MODEL IN SERVING GOD.

( Luke 22: 27 ) For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.

a. The problem inside the local church is some who are in good position in life are claiming to be their boss and not called to serve.

b. But the Lord Jesus Christ rebuke them by saying.

" but I am among you as he that serveth.

2. TO SERVE THE LORD IS OUR GREAT PRIVILEDGE ON OUR PART BECAUSE THE KING OF KINGS AND THE LORD OF LORD AND THE CREATOR OF ALL THINGS.

( John 15: 13-16 ) 13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

* Christ lay down His life for us that our we can be redeemed from sin.

*.This is now our opportunity to give to Christ our life to Him in serving God in His great Ministry.

3. THE GREAT MEN OF GOD IN THE BIBLE LIKE AND OTHERS FOLLOW THE STEP OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

( I Corintians 9:19 ) For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.

* Let us follow the step of the Lord Jesus Christ.

( I Peter 2:21 ) 21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

4. GOD COMMANDED THE CHRISTIANS WHO ARE IN THEIR GREAT POSITION TO SERVE MORE TO HIM.

( Luke 22:26 ) But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.

* Christians do not practice lordship in serving God the bible reminds us this important thing.

( Luke 22:26 ) But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.

5. CHRISTIANS LET US SERVE GOD LIKE THE EXAMPLE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

( Luke 22:26 ) But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.

( Matthew 20 :25-28 ) 25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.

26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;

27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:

28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

* God bless you always *
