* Share the 8 Points benefits of the Cross of Christ.

THE GREAT BENEFITS OF THE CROSS

(Galatians 2:20) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

1• The death of Jesus Christ on the cross cleanses us and frees us from sin

(Matthew 26:28) For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

(1 Pet. 2:24) To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,

2• The death of Jesus Christ on the cross delivers us from God’s wrath

(Rom. 5:9) Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

3• Through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross, God redeems and forgives us

(Col. 1:14) In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

4• The death of Jesus Christ on the cross breaks Satan’s power

(Col. 2:14-15) Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

 (Heb. 2:14-15) Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

5• The death of Jesus Christ on the cross brings physical healing

(Isa. 53:5) But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

6• The death of Jesus Christ on the cross ultimately delivers us from physical death

(2 Tim. 1:10) Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

(Heb. 2:9)  But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

7• The death of Jesus Christ on the cross reconciles us to God and to people

(Eph. 1:7) That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

(Eph. 2:11-22) Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

(Col. 1:13-20). (Colossians 1:20) And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

8• The death of Jesus Christ on the cross gives us access to God

(Heb. 10:19-20) Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

FIVE (5) GREAT THINGS DISPLAY OF THE CROSS TO LIFE OF GOD'S PEOPLE.

1. BECAUSE OF THE CROSS OF CHRIST WE CAN DISPLAYS THE GLORY OF GOD IN THE LIFE FREELY.

( Psalms 104:1-2 ) 1. Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.

2.Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:

2. BECAUSE OF THE CROSS OF CHRIST WE DISPLAY THE JUSTICE OF GOD IN OUR LIVE AS BEING RIGHTEOUS BEFORE GOD .

( 2 Corinthians 5:21 ) For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

3. BECAUSE OF THE CROSS CHRIST WE CAN DISPLAY THE LOVE OF GOD TO OTHERS.

( Romans 5:8-10 ) 8. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

9. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

10. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

4. BECAUSE OF THE CROSS OF CHRIST WE CAN DISPLAY THE WISDOM AND POWER OF GOD TO OTHERS.

( 1 Corinthians 1:18-24 ) 18 .For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

19. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

20. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleasede 21. God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

22. For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:

23. But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

24. But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

5. BECAUSE OF THE CROSS OF CHRIST WE CAN DISPLAY THE PLAN AND PROGRAM OF TO THE LOST WORLD.

( Mathew 28:19-20 ) 19. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

* God bless you all always *
