WHAT MAKES
THE PRAYER OF THE CHRISTIANS POWERFUL?
(Ano
ang nagpapalakas sa panalangin ng mga Kristiyano?)
JAMES 5:15-16 "And
the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and
if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16 Confess your faults
one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual
fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."
Introduction:
a. The
Word of God assures us that prayer is not just a daily routine, but a powerful
ministry that yields great results when offered by God's people.
b.
There are clear biblical principles that transform an ordinary prayer into an
effectual and powerful petition before the throne of God.
Five
(5) Great Reasons Why There Is Power in the Prayer of the Christian:
I. THE FAITH OF THE CHRISTIAN TO GOD MADE THEIR PRAYER
POWERFUL
(Ang
pananampalataya ng Kristiyano sa Diyos ang nagpapalakas sa kanilang panalangin)
JAMES 5:15 "And
the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and
if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him."
a. The
faith of the Christian in their prayer to God is powerful.
MARK 11:22-24 "And
Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23 For verily I say unto
you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou
cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that
those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he
saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray,
believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."
b. The
strong faith of the Christian assures their prayers have been answered.
II. THE FAITHFULNESS OF THE CHRISTIAN MADE THEIR PRAYER
POWERFUL
(Ang
katapatan ng Kristiyano ang nagpapalakas sa kanilang panalangin)
JAMES 5:16 "Confess
your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."

prayer of the faithful Christian will always be blessed by God.
PROVERBS 28:20 "A
faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich
shall not be innocent."
III.
THE FRUITFUL LIFE OF THE CHRISTIAN MADE THEIR PRAYER POWERFUL
(Ang
mabungang buhay ng Kristiyano ang nagpapalakas sa kanilang panalangin)
JOHN 15:16 "Ye
have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go
and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye
shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you."
a.
When a believer remains connected to Christ and bears lasting spiritual fruit,
their alignment with God's will gives immense power to their requests.
IV.
THE GOD-FEARING LIFE OF THE CHRISTIAN MADE THEIR PRAYERS BE ANSWERED
(Ang
may takot sa Diyos na buhay ng Kristiyano ang nagdudulot upang sagutin ang
kanilang panalangin)
PSALMS 128:1-4 "Blessed
is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways."

prayer of a God-fearing Christian always receives answers to their prayers
because their prayers are with power.

God-fearing Christian is always guided by the Holy Spirit in their prayers,
which assures the powerful prayer of God's people.
PSALMS 128:2-4 "For
thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be
well with thee. 3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine
house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table. 4 Behold, that
thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD."
Conclusion:
a.
Power in prayer is not found in the eloquence of words, but in a heart filled
with faith, faithfulness, fruitfulness, and the fear of the Lord.
b. Let
us cultivate these virtues daily so that our local churches and personal lives
may consistently experience the dynamic answers of a prayer-answering God.
