WORKING OUT THE LOCAL CHURCH TO BE A BLESSED CHURCH IN THE SIGHT OF GOD.

 

* INTRODUCTION:

a. To workout to be blessed before means. The Christian or Church will prove that they are whorthy in their daily spiritual walk before God.

* ( Psalms 1:1 ) 1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

b. God expect too much to all His children to be like Him in their holy living.

* ( I Peter 1:15-16 ) 15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

 

1. A BLESSED CHURCH IS WITH A GOD-FEARING CHRISTIAN FAMILY INSIDE THE LOCAL CHURCH.

( Psalms 128:1-4 ) 1 Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.

2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.

4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.

a. The Church are the assembly of Christian family and God expect the head of the family ( Father or Mother )will be the example to their children to live a God fearing life.

(Psalms 128:  3-4 ) 3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.

4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.

2. A BLESSED CHURCH ARE FAITHFUL WORSHIPPER OF GOD.

 

( Acts 2:46-47 ) 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

a. The blessed Church always expirience the presence of God during their worship to God.

( Mathew 18:20 ) 20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. A BLESSED CHURCH ARE CHURCH WHO ARE SOLD OUT GIVING THEIR TITHES AND OFFERING TO THE LORD.

 

( Malachi 3:10-12 ) 10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.

a. God Himself will announce to the World that a faithful Church in giving a blessed before Him.

( Malachi 3:12 ) 12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.

b. God said that it is blessed to give than to receive.

( Acts 20:35 ) I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

 

4. A BLESSED CHURCH ARE EXPIRIENCE PERSECUTION FOR RIGHTEOUNES SAKES.

 

( Matthew 5:10-12 ) 10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

a. The early Church of God experience deep deep persecution because of their love and obedience to God to fulfill the great commission of the Lord Jesus Christ.

( Acts 5:28-29 )  28 Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.

29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

b. Even the Lord Jesus Christ warn the Christian that the World will persecute us. The same persecution the World did to Him.

 ( John 17:13-15 ) 13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

 

5. A BLESSED CHURCH WHO ALWAYS BUSY REACHING THE LOST AT ANY COST.

 

( John 9:4-5 )  4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

a. The Lord Jesus is our prime model of faithful soulwinner.

b. Christians are the light of the World as Christ also being the light of the World.

( Mathew 5:16 ) 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
