PUTTING
THE WORTH OF THE CHRISTIAN IN THE PROPER PLACE

Paglalagay ng Halaga ng Kristiyano sa Tamang Lugar)
ACTS 20:28 “Take heed
therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost
hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased
with his own blood.”
1 PETER 1:18-19 “Forasmuch
as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, [as] silver and
gold, from your vain conversation [received] by tradition from your fathers;
1Pet 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ,
as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:”
Panimula:
a.
Napakahalaga ng Kristiyano sa paningin ng Diyos sapagkat
tayo ay binili ng mahalagang dugo ng Panginoong Jesus, kaya't nararapat lamang
na ilagay natin ang ating buhay Kristiyano sa tama at karapat-dapat na lugar.
b.
Kung mayroon kang mamahaling alahas o accessories,
naniniwala ako na hindi mo hahayaang nakakalat lamang ito tulad ng isang bagay
na hindi gaanong mahalaga. Ganoon din dapat, lalo na sa ating buhay Kristiyano
na binili ng mahalagang dugo ng Panginoong Jesus sa pinakamataas na presyo.
Mga
lugar kung saan inilalagay natin ang halaga ng Kristiyano:
1. THE
PLACE OF THE WORTHY WALK OF CHRISTIANS
(Ang
Lugar ng Karapat-dapat na Lakad ng mga Kristiyano)
COLOSSIANS 1:10 “Trust in
the Lord, and do good; [so] shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt
be fed.”
a.
Ang Diyos ang unang nalulugod at naluluwalhati sa
karapat-dapat na pamumuhay ng isang Kristiyano. Ang ating karakter at ugali sa
araw-araw ang siyang nagpapakita kung gaano natin pinapahalagahan ang
pagpapakasakit ni Kristo sa krus.
b.
Natutuwa ang Diyos kung ang Kristiyano ay nabubuhay sa
pamamagitan ng pananampalataya.
HEBREWS 11:6 “But
without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God
must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently
seek him.
c. Natutuwa
ang Diyos sa Kristiyanong laging inuuna Siya sa buhay. Kapag inuna natin ang
Diyos sa ating oras, pamilya, at kabuhayan, ipinapakita natin na Siya ang
pinakamahalaga sa lahat.
MATTHEW 6:33 “But seek
ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall
be added unto you.
2. THE
PLACE OF THE WATCHFUL WALK OF CHRISTIANS
(Ang
Lugar ng Mapagbantay na Lakad ng mga Kristiyano)
LUKE 18:1 “And he
spake a parable unto them [to this end], that men ought always to pray, and not
to faint;”
a. Ang
iglesya sa Jerusalem ay isang mabuting halimbawa ng isang mapanalangining lokal
na iglesya. Ang pagkakaisa sa pananalangin ng iglesya ay nagdadala ng
kapangyarihan at pagkilos ng Espiritu Santo.
ACTS 1:14-15 “These all
continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary
the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
Acts 1:15 And in those days Peter stood up in the
midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an
hundred and twenty,)”
b.
Hinahamon ng Panginoong Jesus ang Kanyang mga alagad na
manalangin palagi at huwag manlupaypay. Ang pananalangin ay pagpapakita ng
ating lubos na pagdepende sa Panginoon bilang ating Pastol na nagbibigay ng
lahat ng ating pangangailangan.
PSALMS 23:1 “The Lord
[is] my shepherd; I shall not want.”
c. Hinihikayat
tayo ng Diyos Ama na manalangin at nangako Siya na sasagutin tayo. Ang
mapagbantay na Kristiyano ay hindi nagpapadaya sa kaaway sapagkat ang kanyang
lakas ay patuloy na nire-refresh sa pamamagitan ng panalangin.
JEREMIAH 33:3 “Call unto
me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou
knowest not.”
3. THE
PLACE OF WALKING IN THE TRUTH IN THE CHRISTIAN LIFE
(Ang
Lugar ng Paglalakad sa Katotohanan sa Buhay Kristiyano)
3 JOHN 1:3-4 “For I
rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in
thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.
3Jn 1:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my
children walk in truth.”
a.
Mahalaga para sa mga Kristiyano na ilagay ang kanilang
sarili sa katotohanan. Dito tayo hinuhubog ng Diyos sa ating espirituwal na
buhay. Ang Salita ng Diyos ang ating tanging pamantayan (standard) sa
pamumuhay; binabago nito ang ating maling pag-iisip at itinutuwid ang ating mga
hakbang.
2 TIMOTHY 3:14-16 “But
continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of,
knowing of whom thou hast learned [them];
2Tim 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known
the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through
faith which is in Christ Jesus.
2Tim 3:16 All scripture [is] given by inspiration
of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for
instruction in righteousness:”
b. Ang
paglalakad sa katotohanan ang susi upang maalis at mapagtagumpayan ang lahat ng
mga daya ng diyablo sa ating buhay. Ang mundong ito ay puno ng kasinungalingan,
ngunit ang Kristiyanong nakatapak sa katotohanan ay nananatiling matatag at may
malinis na budhi.
JOHN 8:32 “And ye
shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
4.
THOSE CHRISTIANS WHO DON’T “MOVE” IN FACING DEEP TRIALS IN CHRISTIAN LIFE
(Yaong
mga Kristiyano na hindi natitinag sa harap ng malalalim na pagsubok sa buhay
Kristiyano)
1 PETER 1:7 “That the
trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth,
though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory
at the appearing of Jesus Christ:”
a.
Si Job ay isang mabuting halimbawa ng isang Kristiyano na
nanatiling matatag sa harap ng malalalim na pagsubok sa buhay. Sa kabila ng
pagkawala ng kanyang ari-arian, kalusugan, at mga anak, pinatunayan ni Job na
ang kanyang halaga ay nakasalig sa kanyang katapatan sa Diyos, hindi sa
materyal na bagay.
JOB 2:9-10 “Then said
his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.
10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh.
What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?
In all this did not Job sin with his lips.”
b.
Nagtiwala si Pablo sa Panginoon sa mga panahon ng
malalaking ligalig sa buhay. Ang mga pagsubok ay hindi idinisenyo upang sirain
tayo, kundi upang linisin at patunayan ang ginto ng ating pananampalataya.
2 CORINTHIANS 1:8-9 “For we
would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia,
that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired
even of life: 9 But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should
not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead: ”
c. Kapag
umaabot tayo sa dulo ng ating sariling lakas, doon natin mas nararanasan ang
supernatural na kapangyarihan at pag-alalay ng Diyos.
5.
THOSE CHRISTIANS WHO DON’T “MISUNDERSTAND” THE CALL OF GOD IN THEIR LIVES
(Yaong
mga Kristiyano na hindi nagkakamaling unawain ang tawag ng Diyos sa kanilang
buhay)
1 CORINTHIANS 1:26-28 “For ye see
your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many
mighty, not many noble, are called: 27 But God hath chosen the foolish things
of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the
world to confound the things which are mighty; 28 And base things of the world,
and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not,
to bring to nought things that are: ”
a. Ibinigay
ng Diyos ang Kanyang pagtawag sa bawat Kristiyano batay sa talento at
kakayahang ipinagkaloob sa kanila. Hindi tumatawag ang Diyos ng mga
kwalipikado; sa halip, kinukwalipika Niya ang Kanyang mga tinatawag upang
walang sinuman ang magmalaki sa sariling galing.
b. Ang
pangunahing layunin ng Diyos sa pagtawag sa atin ay upang luwalhatiin Siya sa
ating mga buhay.
1CORINTHIANS 1:29 “That no
flesh should glory in his presence.”
c. Ang
pagkaunawa sa ating banal na tawag ay nag-aalis ng inggit at kompetisyon sa
loob ng iglesya, dahil ang bawat isa ay may kanya-kanyang bahaging itinalaga ng
Diyos.
6.
THOSE WHO MISUSED THEIR TALENT NOT FOR WORLDLY PURPOSES, BUT FOR HOLY SERVICE
TO GOD TO GLORIFY AND PLEASE HIM.
(Yaong
mga hindi gumagamit ng kanilang talent sa makamundong layunin, kundi sa banal
na paglilingkod sa Diyos upang Siya ay luwalhatiin at kalugdan)
( Romans 12:1-12 ) [1]I
beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your
bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable
service.
[2]And be not conformed to this world: but be ye
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good,
and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
a. Ang
Diyos ay nagbigay sa Kanyang mga mahal na anak ng maraming talento upang
magamit natin sa Kanyang ministeryo. Ang
ating mga talento at kakayahan ay hindi pag-aari ng ating sarili; ang mga ito
ay ipinagkatiwala lamang (stewardship) upang gamitin sa pagtatayo ng Kanyang
kaharian.
( Romans 12:6-11 ) [1]I
beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your
bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable
service.
[2]And be not conformed to this world: but be ye
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good,
and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
[6]Having then gifts differing according to the
grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the
proportion of faith;
[7]Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or
he that teacheth, on teaching;
[8]Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that
giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that
sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
[9]Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that
which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
[10]Be kindly affectioned one to another with
brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
[11]Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit;
serving the Lord;
b. Ang
pinakamataas na uri ng pagsamba ay ang paghahandog ng ating buong buhay, lakas,
at kakayahan para sa banal na gawain, nang may kasipagan at maalab na espiritu.
CONCLUSION:
Lubhang
nalulugod ang Diyos sa mga uri ng Kristiyano na lumalakad nang karapat-dapat at
nagbibigay-lugod sa Kanya sa kanilang pagsamba.
PSALM 122:1 “I was glad
when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.”
