LET'S DO THESE GREAT THINGS FOR THE LORD NOW.
(
Hebrews 6:10 )10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work
and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have
ministered to the saints, and do minister.
1. TO WORSHIP THE LORD WITH FAITHFULNESS.
( Acts
2:46-47 ) 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking
bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of
heart,
47 Praising God, and having favour
with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be
saved.
2. TO WALK A WORTHY WALK BEFORE GOD CONSISTENTLY.
(
Colossians 1:10 ) 10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all
pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of
God;
3. TO WORK IN GOD'S VINEYARD BOUNTIFUL.
( I
Corinthians 15:58 ) 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast,
unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that
your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
4. TO WATCH AND PRAY ALWAYS FOR THE NEEDY CHRISTIAN.
( Acts
12:1-5 ) 1 Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex
certain of the church.
2 And he killed James the brother
of John with the sword.
3 And because he saw it pleased
the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of
unleavened bread.)
4 And when he had apprehended him,
he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep
him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.
5 Peter therefore was kept in
prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.
5. TO WAIT FOR THE COMING OF THE LORD WITH FAITHFULNESS.
( Mathew
24:45-47 ) 45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler
over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom
his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47 Verily I say unto you, That he
shall make him ruler over all his goods.
* God bless you all always *,
