[O] [PREACHING LESSON 4:] WHAT TIME IS IT WHEN TRIALS COMES UNEXPECTEDLY

WHAT TIME IS IT WHEN TRIALS COMES UNEXPECTEDLY

( I Peter 4:12 ) 12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

INTRODUCTION:

 a. God design the life of the Christians to face some troubles and trials in Christian life.

b. That is we need to be strong in our Christian life so that we are prepared and ready to face some dificulties in Christian life.

( Ephesians 6:10 ) 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

1. IT IS TIME TO RETHINK OF YOURSELVES.

( V 12 ) " Think it is not strange comes with the territory.

a. It is time to examine ourselves before and pray to God to give us wisdom to understand the will of God in our lives.

( John 16:13 ) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

2. IT IS TIME TO REJOICE IN THE LORD.

( V 13 "partaker of Christ 's sufferings "

( Philippians 4:4) 4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

( James 1:2-3 ) 2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

3. IT IS TIME TO RECHECK  YOURSELVES.

( 1 Peter  15-16 ) 15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.

16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

suffer as evildoer " - evaluate spiritual condition

b. It is time to examine ourselves .

( 2 Corinthians 13:5) 5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

4. IT IS TIME TO RELY TO GOD OF ALL GRACE.

(1 Peter 4:19 ) 19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

( I Peter 510 ) 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

5. IT IS TIME TO RELEASE YOUR FAITH TO GOD.

( Hebrews 11:6 ) 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

* God bless you all always
