MAKING GOOD DECISION FOR NEW YEAR FOR GOD'S GLORY
( Ephesians 3:16-21 ) 16 That he would grant you,
according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his
Spirit in the inner man;
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye,
being rooted and grounded in love,
18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the
breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge,
that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly
above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus
throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
5 GREAT GOOD DECISION FOR NEW YEAR
2023.
1. DECISION TO MAKE CHRIST TO BE THE
CENTER OF OUR SPIRITUAL LIFE IN 2023.
( Ephesians 3:17-19 ) 17 That Christ may dwell in your
hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the
breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge,
that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
2. DECISION TO MAKE OUR LIFE CLOSER
TO GOD IN 2023.
( Psalms 73:28 ) 28 But it is good for me to draw
near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy
works.
3. DECISION TO MAKE OUR LIFE BE
CHANNEL OF BLESSING TO THE NEEDS OF THE CHURCH.
( Philippians 4:15-16 ) 15 Now ye Philippians know also,
that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church
communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.
16 For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my
necessity.
4. DECISION TO MAKE OUR SPIRITUAL
FRUITFUL BY SHARING THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST TO MANY LOST PEOPLE
( I Corinthians 9:19-22 ) 19 For though I be free from all
men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.
20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain
the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain
them that are under the law;
21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not
without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that
are without law.
22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak:
I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
5. DECISION TO MAKE OUR SPIRITUAL
GIFT BE USED IN GOD'S MINISTRY.
( Romans 12: 6-11 ) 6 Having then gifts differing
according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy
according to the proportion of faith;
7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that
teacheth, on teaching;
8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let
him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth
mercy, with cheerfulness.
9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is
evil; cleave to that which is good.
10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love;
in honour preferring one another;
11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the
Lord;
* God bless you all always *
