37 Then
saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers
are few;
38 Pray ye
therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his
harvest.
5 GREAT THINGS ABOUT THE MISSIONARIES

with a deep concern for the Salvation of lost sinners.
b. Christ is our perfect model in

( John 9:4-5 ) Jn 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me,
while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
Jn 9:5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

of a local Church with a big heart for the salvation of lost people in their
Community.

and the same day there were added [unto them] about three thousand souls.
2. THE MISSIONARIES HEART ARE ALWAYS
FOR THE UNITY OF THE MISSION WORK.
( Psalms 133:1-3 ) 1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for
brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is
like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even
Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
3 As the
dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for
there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
a. The Missionaries always goal is to
see the Christians be always united to reach their goal in their Mission work.
b. If the Church is divided, that is
a big hindrance to accomplish great things the work of the Lord.
c. Christ is our prime model in unity
in the work of the Lord.
( John 17: 21 ) That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in
me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe
that thou hast sent me.

( John 16:13 ) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he
will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but
whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to
come.
a. The Holy Spirit give perfect power
to the Mission work.
(Acts 1:8 ) But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy
Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem,
and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
b. The Holy Spirit leads the
Christians to pray according to the work of God.
( Romans 8:26 ) Likewise the Spirit also helpeth
our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the
Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be
uttered.
4. THE MISSIONARIES HEART ARE ALWAYS
BASE ON THE PRINCIPLE OF THE WORD OF GOD.
( II Timothy 3:16-17 ) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is
profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in
righteousness:
17 That
the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
a. The Word of God the Word of Truth
that feeds us spiritually.
( Mathew 4:4 ) But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall
not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of
God.
b. The Word of God is the source of
our spiritual strength of the Christian.
( Joshua 1:8 ) 8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy
mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe
to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy
way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
5. THE MISSIONARIES HEART ARE ALWAYS
WITH THE VISION TO TRAIN MORE LABOURERS IN THE MISSION WORK.
( Mathew 9: 37-38 ) 37 Then saith he unto his
disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;

therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his
harvest.

look on the field for they are white already to harvest.

cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the
fields; for they are white already to harvest.
b. Paul challenges the Church to
always abounding in the work of the Lord.
( I Corinthian 15:58 ) Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast,
unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that
your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
* God bless you all always *
