[N] [PREACHING LESSON 9:] SAD REALITY ON THE PART OF THE GENUINE CHRISTIAN AND IT IS HARD TO BELIEVE THAT THEY CHOOSE TO LIVE LIKE UNSAVED LOST PEOPLE INSTEAD TO LIVE AS TRUE CHILDREN OF GOD.

* Proverbs 26:11 As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly.

* ( 2 Peter 2 :22 )

But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

* INTRODUCTION:

a. These are Christians who member of your family. These are before our Church leaders in one department of of our youth group. These are Christians whom became God's instruments for you that leads you to know the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. They former strong Christians showed to us how to love and be faithful to the local Church. But the big problem is they stop in walking like Christ in their in an example to other Christian.

 

 

 

1. THEY CHOOSE TO NEGLECT TO WORSHIP GOD DURING SUNDAY.

( Hebrews 10:25 ) 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

a. Tomas was genuine Christian bad example in his time.

 

2. THEY CHOOSE REFUSE TO RECEIVE GOD'S COUNSEL IN THEIR LIFE.

( Proverbs 1:24-31 ) 24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;

25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:

26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;

27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.

28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:

29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:

30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.

31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

 

 

3. THEY CHOOSE LOVE THE WORLD THAN TO LOVE GOD IN THEIR LIFE.

( I John 2:15-17 ) 15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

 

4. THEY CHOOSE TO ROB GOD'S TITHES AND OFFERING THAN TO BE FAITHFUL IN GIVING TO THE LORD.

( Malachi 3:8-10 ) 8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

 

5. THEY CHOOSE TO EQUALLY YOKE WITH THE UNBELIEVERS CONSISTENTLY THAN TO WALK A CHRIST LIKE TESTIMONY.

( II Corinthians 6:14-16 ) 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

 

6. THEY CHOOSE NOT TO HAVE CONCERN FOR THE LOST SINNERS TO WIN THEM TO CHRIST.

( John 4:35 )  35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

a. Because they are living together with the unbelievers and doing the things the unbelievers are doing. They lost their true concern for the lost people. In

b. Contrast on the real concern of Christ for the lost sinners.

( Mathew 9:35-36 ) 35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
