GREAT THINGS WE HAVE LEARNED IN CHRISTIAN LIFE THAT WE SHOULD CONTINUE AND ARE REST ASSURED TO RECEIVE THE REWARDS FROM GOD.

1:8) Look to yourselves, that we lose not
those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

Timothy 3:14 ) But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and
hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
* INTRODUCTION:
* Paul always give encouragement to Christians to
continue in serving the Lord base on the things that have learned from them as
their Senior God’s servant.

b. Those things that the have learn from will come
invain.

5 GREAT SPIRITUAL THINGS WE LEARNED IN CHRISTIAN LIFE THAT
WE CONTINUE ARE REST ASSURED TO RECEIVE REWARDS FROM GOD.
1. WE LEARN TO BE FAITHFUL IN SERVING THE LORD ARE REST
ASSURED TO RECEIVE REWARDS.

Timothy 1:12 ) And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for
that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;
* God promised to the faithfull christians that they will
abound with blessings.
(
Proverbs 28:20 ) 20 A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that
maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.
2. WE LEARNED TO BE AN EXAMPLE OF CHRIST IN OUR TESTIMONY
ARE REST ASSURED TO RECEIVE REWARDS.

Peter 1:21 ) For even
hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an
example, that ye should follow his steps:
* The disciples of Christ was bold in serving God and
seen the example of Christ in their life.
( Acts
4:13 ) 13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and
perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they
took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
3. WE LEARNED TO BE AN EFFECTIVE AND FRUITFUL SOULWINNING
ARE REST ASSURED TO RECEIVE REWARDS.

Corinthians 9:19-22 ) 19 For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself
servant unto all, that I might gain the more.
20 And
unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are
under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;
21 To
them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but
under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.
22 To
the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to
all men, that I might by all means save some.
* God prepared a crown of rejoicing for the faithful
soulwinners.

Thessalonians 2:19-20) 19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are
not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?
20 For
ye are our glory and joy.
4. WE LEARNED TO GIVE THE LORD'S WORK BOUNTIFULLY ARE
REST ASSURED TO RECEIVE REWARDS.

Corinthians 9:6-8 ) 6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also
sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
7 Every
man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or
of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
8 And
God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all
sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
* God called the faithfull giver blessed.
( Acts
20:35 ) 35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye
ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he
said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
5. WE LEARNED TO BE A PRAYERFUL CHRISTIAN INSIDE THE
LOCAL ARE REST ASSURED TO RECEIVE REWARDS.

5:16 ) 16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for
another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man
availeth much.
* Jabez was our good example in faithfullness in prayer.
( I Chronicles
4:10 ) 10 And Jabez called on the God of
Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast,
and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil,
that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.
* God is always inviting the Christians to pray for He
promise to answers our prayers.

Jerwmiah 33:3 ) 3 Call
unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which
thou knowest not.
