[N] [PREACHING LESSON 2:] MAKING THE BEST YOU CAN IN SERVING THE LORD INSIDE THE LOCAL CHURCH TO THE FULLEST TILL JESUS COMES BACK.

 MAKING THE BEST YOU CAN IN SERVING THE LORD INSIDE THE LOCAL CHURCH TO THE FULLEST TILL JESUS COMES BACK.

( Philippians 1:5-6 ) 5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;

6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

* INTRODUCTION:

a. Paul being a very commited God servant of the Lord gave a challenge to Philippian Christians to serve the Lord with total commitment to God and to do their best and perform it till the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

b. The Lord Jesus Christ are with the same challenges given to His disciples also.

( Matthew  24:45-47 ) 45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

5 GREAT SERVICE OF THE CHRISTIANS TO GOD TO THE FULLEST TILL JESUS COMES BACK.

1. CHRISTIAN SERVE THE LORD INSIDE THE LOCAL  CHURCH IN WORSHIPPING GOD FAITHFULLY.

( Acts 2:46-47 ) 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

a. Jerusalem Church is our prime example in worsipping God faithfully. Worshipping daily. Big Amen and amen.

2. CHRISTIAN SERVE THE LORD INSIDE THE LOCAL CHURCH WITH TOTAL UNITY.

( Psalms 133:1-3 ) 1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;

3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

a. The disciples of Christ during earthly ministry His disciples were so united to accoplished to bring to Him the palsy man and be saved.

( Mark 2:3-5 ) 3 And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.

4 And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.

5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.

3. THE CHRISTIANS SERVE THE LORD INSIDE THE LOCAL CHURCH FRUITFULLY.

( John 15:8 ) 8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

* ( Acts 6:6-7 )  6 Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.

7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

4. THE CHRISTIANS SERVE THE LORD INSIDE THE LOCAL CHURCH OBIDIENTLY IN GIVING THEIR TITHES TO THE LORD.

( Malachi 3: 10-12 ) 10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.

a. God loveth a cheerful giver.

( I Corinthians 9:6-8 ) 6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

5. THE CHRISTIANS SERVE THE LORD INSIDE THE LOCAL CHURCH SACRIFICIALY.

( II Corinthians 8:1-5 ) 1 Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia;

2 How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality.

3 For to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves;

4 Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.

5 And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God.

6. THE CHRISTIANS SERVE THE LORD INSIDE THE LOCAL CHURCH CONFIDENTLY AND SINCERELY TILL JESUS COMES BACK.

( Philippians 1:5-6 ) 5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;

6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

* God bless you all always *
