[N] [PREACHING LESSON 10:] GREAT CHALLENGE TO CHRISTIAN TO BE STEADFAST AND BE UNITED IN THE WORK OF THE LORD IN 2022-2023.

 GREAT CHALLENGE TO CHRISTIAN TO BE STEADFAST AND BE UNITED IN THE WORK OF THE LORD IN 2022-2023.

( 1 Corinthians 15 :58 )  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

* To be steadfast means - To be firm and to be fixed to unmovevable .

* Our text encourage us to be STEADFAST and UNMOVEVABLE in the work of the Lord to assure great accomplishment in the work of the Lord.

1. LET US BE STEADFAST IN UNITED PRAYER IN THE WORK OF THE LORD.

( Acts 1:13-15 ) 14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)

a. The Church need to be Steadfast and be united in Prayer. More prayer more power from the Lord.

b. Prayer is best weapon we have against our spiritual enemy the devil.

( Ephesians 6:16-18 ) 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

2. LET US BE STEADFAST IN UNITY IN SHARING THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST TO THE LOST PEOPLE AT ANY COST.

( John 9:4-5 ) 4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

a. Soulwinning is the great commission of the Lord Jesus Christ.

( Mathew 28:19-20 ) 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

b. Paul's strategy in winning lost people is by being servant to all that we can win more souls to Christ.

( I Corinthians 9:19-22 ) 19 For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.

20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;

21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.

22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

3. LET US BE STEADFAST IN UNITY IN SERVING THE LORD ACCORDING TO THE GIFT GOD GIVEN TO US.

( Psalms 133:1-3 ) 1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;

3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

a. God is touch by steadfast and United in serving Him inside the local Church.

( Psalms 133:1 ) 1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

b. The Church is very effective in serving God by being steadfast unmovevable and always abounding in the work of the Lord.

( I Corinthians 15:58 ) 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

4. LET US BE STEADFAST IN GIVING OUR TITHES AND OFFERING TO THE LORD WITH FAITHFULNESS.

( Malachi 3:10-12 ) 10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.

a. God said that it is blessed to give than to receive than to receive.

(Acts 20:35) I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

5. LET US BE STEADFAST IN UNITY IN SUPPORTING MORE MISSIONS OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

( Philippians 4:15-16 ) 15 Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.

16 For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.

* God bless you all always *
