CHRISTIANS SHOULD FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH?
(BAKIT ANG KRISTIYANO AY DAPAT MAKIPAGLABAN NANG MABUTING
PAKIKIPAGLABAN NG PANANAMPALATAYA?)
1TIMOTHY 6:12 “Fight the good fight of
faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast
professed a good profession before many witnesses.”
2TIMOTHY 4:7 “I have
fought a good fight, I have finished [my] course, I have kept the faith:”
Panimula:
a. Ang
araling ito ay isang seryosong hamon sa bawat Kristiyano na tayo’y makipagbaka
nang mabuting pakikipaglaban sa pananampalataya.
b. Posibleng
magtagumpay ang bawat Kristiyano sa pagharap sa mga kakaharaping pagsubok,
problema, at sa lahat ng panggigipit ng ating kaaway na si Satanas.
EPHESIANS 6:10-12 “Finally,
my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye
may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and
blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the
darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].”
Mga
Dahilan ng Pakikipaglaban sa Pananampalataya:

BECAUSE OUR FIGHT IS REAL AND OUR SPIRITUAL ENEMY IS REAL
EPHESIANS 6:10-12 10
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye
may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and
blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the
darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].”
a. Ang
ating kaaway ay isang malakas at totoong masamang kaaway sa espiritwal na
kalagayan.
b. Ang
diyablo o si Satanas ang dumaya kina Adan at Eva kaya sila nahiwalay sa Diyos.
(GENESIS 3:3-13) [3]But of
the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye
shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
[4]And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall
not surely die:
[5]For God doth know that in the day ye eat
thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good
and evil.
[6]And when the woman saw that the tree was good
for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to
make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto
her husband with her; and he did eat.
[7]And the eyes of them both were opened, and they
knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made
themselves aprons.
[8]And they heard the voice of the LORD God
walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid
themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
[9]And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said
unto him, Where art thou?
[10]And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden,
and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
[11]And he said, Who told thee that thou wast

shouldest not eat?

to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

tayo ni Apostol Pablo na labanan ang diyablo nang may matatag na
pananampalataya.
1 PETER 5:8-9 “Be sober,
be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh
about, seeking whom he may devour:
1Pet 5:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith,
knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in
the world.”

BECAUSE OUR FIGHT IS A RIGHTEOUS AND SPIRITUAL FIGHT
EPHESIANS 6:12-18 “For we
wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against
powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual
wickedness in high [places].
Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour
of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all,
to stand.
Eph 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt
about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
Eph 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation
of the gospel of peace;
Eph 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith,
wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the
sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Eph 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and
supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and
supplication for all saints;”
a. Hindi
sa laman at dugo ang ating pakikipaglaban na katulad ng mga taong hindi ligtas.
Para sa ating mga Kristiyano, ito ay isang matuwid at espiritwal na
pakikipagbaka.
b. Hinahamon
tayo ni Pablo na isuot ang buong kagayakan (armour) ng Diyos upang tayo’y
makatagal at magtagumpay sa oras ng labanang espiritwal.
c. Ang
bigkis sa ating baywang ay ang Katotohanan, na walang iba kundi ang Salita ng
Diyos.
(Eph 6:14) Stand
therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the
breastplate of righteousness;

BECAUSE OUR FIGHT IS A REASSURANCE OF THE WINNING SIDE BECAUSE OF OUR FAITH IN GOD
1 JOHN 4:4 “Ye are of
God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in
you, than he that is in the world.”
a. Ang
Diyos ang tumatahan sa bawat Kristiyano, kaya naman mas makapangyarihan Siya
kaysa sa diyablo na ating kaaway.
b. Si
Kristo Hesus ang Siyang magbibigay sa atin ng ganap na pagtatagumpay.
1CORINTHIANS 15:57 “But thanks
[be] to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
c. Dahil
ang Diyos ay nasa ating panig, sigurado ang ating panalo laban sa kaaway.
ROMANS 8:31 “What shall
we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us?”

BECAUSE OUR FIGHT IS A REWARDING FIGHT BECAUSE OF OUR FAITH IN GOD.
2 TIMOTHY 4:7-8 “I have
fought a good fight, I have finished [my] course, I have kept the faith:
2Tim 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a
crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at
that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”
a. May
malakas na loob at determinasyon si Pablo na makipaglabang matatag hanggang sa
matapos ang kanyang takbuhin at labanang espiritwal.
b. May
totoong gantimpalang nakalaan sa bawat nagtatagumpay—hindi lamang para sa
iilang lider tulad ni Pablo, kundi sa lahat ng Kristiyanong tapat na
naghihintay at nagmamahal sa pagbabalik ng Panginoong Hesus.
c. Ang
pagkatakot sa Diyos ay pagpapakita natin ng paggalang natin sa Diyos.
2 TIMOTHY 4:8 “Henceforth
there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous
judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also
that love his appearing.”

BECAUSE OUR FIGHT ALWAYS GLORIFIES GOD WHEN WE FIGHT THE FIGHT OF FAITH.
a. Sa pamamagitan ng pananampalataya, ang mga
naunang lingkod ng Diyos ay nagtagumpay sa mga kaharian, nagkamit ng mga
pangako, at nanatiling matatag sa kabila ng matitinding pag-uusig at
paghihirap.
( Hebrews 11:32-40 ) [32]And
what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of
Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the
prophets:
[33]Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought
righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,
[34]Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the
edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight,
turned to flight the armies of the aliens.
[35]Women received their dead raised to life
again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might
obtain a better resurrection:
[36]And others had trial of cruel mockings and
scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
[37]They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were
tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and
goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;
[38](Of whom the world was not worthy:) they
wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
[39]And these all, having obtained a good report
through faith, received not the promise:
[40]God having provided some better thing for us,
that they without us should not be made perfect.
b. Sila
ay nag-iwan ng mabuting patotoo dahil hindi sila sumuko sa kanilang
pakikipaglaban.
Pangwakas:
Ang
labanang espiritwal ay isang totoong pakikipagbaka. Bilang mga Kristiyano,
marapat lamang na tayo ay maging laging handa na humarap sa kaaway ng Diyos.
Huwag tayong matakot o manghina, sapagkat ang Diyos mismo ang ating kakampi, at
sa Kanya ay tiyak ang ating pagtatagumpay!
ROMANS 8:31 “What shall
we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us?”
