(ANG MGA TOTOONG PALATANDAAN NG DISIPULO NI KRISTO)
JOHN 8:31 “Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, [then] are ye my disciples indeed;”
Panimula:
a. Disciple – means followers, convert, pupil
b. Ang Bibliya ay maliwanag na nagpapatunay kung sino ang totoong mga alagad ni Kristo.
c. Ang Bibliya din ang nagsasabi na mayroong ding mga bulaang disipulo o mapagkunwaring apostol ni Kristo.
2CORINTHIANS 11:13-15 “For such [are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
2Cor 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
2Cor 11:15 Therefore [it is] no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”

Five (5) genuine marks of the disciple of Christ:
1. THEY MUST BE FORSAKING ALL
(Dapat nilang nilalagay sa isang tabi ang mga bagay para unahin ang Diyos.)
LUKE 14:26 “If any [man] come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.”
a. Ang ibig sabihin ng Diyos ay unahin natin Siya sa ating buhay at hindi balewalain ang ating mga mahal sa buhay.
MATTHEW 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
b. Ang araw ng Linggo ay unang araw ng isang linggo kaya dapat lamang na unahin ang Diyos tuwing araw ng Linggo.
ACTS 20:7 “And upon the first [day] of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.”
2. THEY MUST BE BEARING THEIR CROSS
(Dapat nilang binubuhat ang kanilang krus.)
LUKE 14:27 “And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.”
a. Bilang mga disipulo ni Kristo dapat lamang na tayo’y kabalikat o katuwang na tutulong kay Kristo sa Kanyang dakilang gawain. Magandang halimbawa: Nagtulong-tulong na binuhat nila ang lumpo upang dalhin kay Kristo.
MARK 2:1-5 “And again he entered into Capernaum after [some] days; and it was noised that he was in the house.
Mk 2:2 And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive [them], no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.
Mk 2:3 And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.
Mk 2:4 And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken [it] up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.
Mk 2:5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.”

b. Ang pagkakaisa at pagtutulungan sa gawain ng Diyos ay ikinatutuwa ng Diyos.
PSALMS 133:1-3 “Behold, how good and how pleasant [it is] for brethren to dwell together in unity! a
Pss 133:2 [It is] like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, [even] Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
Pss 133:3 As the dew of Hermon, [and as the dew] that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, [even] life for evermore.”

3. THEY MUST BE CONTINUING IN HIS WORD
(Dapat sila’y nagpapatuloy sa Salita ng Diyos.)
JOHN 8:31 “Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, [then] are ye my disciples indeed;”
a. Ang sa Diyos ay nakikinig ng Salita. Ang hindi sa Diyos ay hindi nakikinig ng Salita ng Diyos.
1JOHN 2:3-5 “And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
1Jn 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1Jn 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.”

b. Ang pananabik sa Salita ng Diyos ay katunayan na tayo’y mga ligtas at mga tunay na alagad ni Kristo.
1PETER 2:2 “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:”
MATTHEW 4:4 “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”
4. THEY MUST BE OBEYING CHRIST
(Dapat sila’y masunurin kay Kristo.)
JOHN 14:15 “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
LUKE 6:46 “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?”
a. Ang masunuring KristIyano ay nagpapatunay ng pag-ibig kay Kristo.
b. Tinawag ng Diyos na kaibigan ang bawat masunuring Kristiyano at hindi na alipin.
JOHN 15:14-15 “Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
Jn 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.”

5. THEY MUST BE FRUITBEARING CHRISTIANS
(Dapat sila’y nagsisipamungang Kristiyano)
JOHN 15:8 “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.”
a. Ang iglesya sa Jerusalem ay magandang huwaran ng mabungang iglesia lokal.
ACTS 2:41, 47 “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added [unto them] about three thousand souls.
Acts 2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”
b. Ang Diyos ay naghanda ng putong sa bawat Kristiyano na naging mabunga sa kanyang Kristiyano.
2TIMOTHY 4:8 “Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”
Pangwakas:
a. Ang tunay na disipulo ni Kristo ay tunay na may palatandaan ayon sa Banal na Kasulatan.
b. Ang tunay na disipulo ni Kristo ay maliwanag na makapagpapatototoo tungkol sa kaligtasan na naranasan niya kay Kristo Hesus.
ACTS 8:35-38 “Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
Acts 8:36 And as they went on [their] way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, [here is] water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
Acts 8:37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
Acts 8:38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.”
