[LL] [PREACHING LESSON 19:] THERE IS NO TOO LATE FOR THE PEOPLE TO BE SAVED BECAUSE GOD IS WAITING AND READY TO SAVE THEM.

THERE IS NO TOO LATE FOR THE PEOPLE TO BE SAVED BECAUSE GOD IS WAITING AND READY TO SAVE THEM.

( II Peter 3:9 ) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

* 2 Corinthians 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

1. IT IS NOT TOO LATE FOR THE PHILIPPIANS JAILOR TO BE SAVED BECAUSE PAUL AND SILAS PRAYED AND SHARED THE GOSPELOFCHRIST HIM.

( Acts 16:25-33 ) [25]And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

[26]And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.

[27]And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled.

[28]But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.

[29]Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,

[30]And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

[31]And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

2. IT IS NOT TOO LATE FOR LYDIA WHO OPEN HER HEART AND RECIEVED THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AS THROUGH PAUL SHARING THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST.

( Acts 16:14 ) And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.

3. IT IS NOT TOO LATE FOR THE EUNUCH BECAUSE PHILIP RUN AND HELP THE EUNUCH TO ANSWERS THE QUESTION ON THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST.

Acts 8:30-37 [30]And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?

[31]And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

[32]The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:

[33]In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.

[34]And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?

[35]Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

[36]And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

[37]And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

4. IT IS NOT TOO LATE FOR THE LOST PEOPLE IN MACEDONIA BECAUSE PAUL IMMEDIATELY RESPONDED TO THE NEED OF SALVATIONOF THE MACEDONIAN LOST PEOPLE.

( Acts 16:8-10 ) [8]And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas.

[9]And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.

[10]And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.

5. IT IS NOT TOO LATE FOR THE PEOPLE TO ANTIOCH FOR THEM TO BE SAVED BECAUSE THE ANTIOCH CHRISTIANS SHARED THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST EFFECTIVELY.

( Acts 11:21-24 ) [21]And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.

[22]Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.

[23]Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.

[24]For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.

6. IT IS NOT TOO LATE FOR THE 3000 SOULS WHEN GOSPEL IS PREACHED BY PETER IN THIS BIG CROWD.

( Acts 2: 36-41 ) [36]Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

[37]Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

[38]Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

[39]For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

[40]And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

[41]Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

* God bless you all always *
