[LL] [PREACHING LESSON 17:] CHRIST IS OUR PRIME MODEL OF HAVING COMPASSION TO THE SINNERS ON THIS PLANET EARTH.

CHRIST IS OUR PRIME MODEL OF HAVING COMPASSION TO THE SINNERS ON THIS PLANET EARTH.

1.CHRIST MOVE WITH COMPASSION TO MOST  ADULTEROUS SAMARITAN WOMAN .

( John 4:4-16 ) [4]And he must needs go through Samaria.

[5]Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.

[6]Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.

[7]There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.

[8](For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)

[9]Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.

[10]Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

2. CHRIST MOVE WITH COMPASSION TO THE MOST WICKED PERSON THE CRIMINAL ON THE CROSS OF CALVARY.

( Luke 23:42-43 ) [42]And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

[43]And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

3. CHRIST MOVE WITH COMPASSION TO THE MOVE TO THE MOST CORRUPT PUBLIC OFFICIAL ZACCHAEUS.

( Luke 19:8-10 ) [8]And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.

[9]And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.

[10]For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

4. CHRIST MOVE WITH COMPASSION ON THE MOST RELIGIOUS BUT LOST PERSON NICODEMUS.

( John 3:3-7 ) [3]Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

[4]Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

[5]Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

[6]That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

[7]Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

5. CHRIST MOVE COMPASSION ON THE MOST SCATTERED LOST SHEEP YOU AND I IN THIS SINFUL WORLD.

( Mathew 9:35-38 ) [35]And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

[36]But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

[37]Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;

[38]Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

6. CHRIST MOVE WITH COMPASSION ON THE MOST SICKLY PALSY MAN.

( Mark 2:1-5 ) [1]And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house.

[2]And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.

[3]And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.

[4]And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.

[5]When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.

* God bless you all always *
