[L] [PREACHING LESSON 3:] GREAT THINGS GOD SURE WILL DO TO A RIGHTEOUS CHRISTIAN

 GREAT THINGS GOD SURE  WILL DO TO A RIGTHEOUS  CHRISTIAN.

 

( Psalms 11:7 ) For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

 

1. GOD WILL SURE ANSWER THE PRAYER OF THE RIGTHEOUS CHRISTIAN.

 

( James 5:16 ) Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

( I Peter 3:12 ) For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

 

2. GOD WILL SURE BLESS THE FAMILY OF THE RIGTHEOUS CHRISTIAN.

 

( Psalms 128:1-4 ) Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.

2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.

4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.

 

3. GOD WILL SURE TO PROTECT FROM EVIL ATTACT OF THE RIGTHEOUS CHRISTIAN.

 

( Psalms 91:1-3 ) He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

 

4. GOD WILL SURE REWARD THE FAITHFULNESS OF THE RIGTHEOUS CHRISTIAN.

 

( Proverbs 28:20 ) A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.

( Hebrews 6:10 ) For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

5. GOD WILL SURE MAKE FRUITFUL THE MINISTRY OF THE RIGTHEOUS CHRISTIAN EVEN AT OLD AGE.

 

( Psalms 92: 12-15 ) The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

13 Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

15 To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
