THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO GOOD TO THE HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH IS FREE, LET'S GRAB IT NOW
( Galatians 6:10 ) As we have therefore opportunity,
let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of
faith.
* Opportunity: : a good chance for
advancement or progress
5 GREAT THINGS THE CHRISTIAN HAVE
OPPORTUNITY TO DO GOOD THE HOUSE HOLD OF FAITH.
1. LET'S GRAB THE OPPORTUNITY TO PRAY
FOR CHRISTHREN WHO IN BIG TRIALS AND TROUBLE IN LIFE.
( Acts 12 1-5 ) Now about that time Herod the king
stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.
2 And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.
3 And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded
further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)
4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and
delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after
Easter to bring him forth to the people.
5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made
without ceasing of the church unto God for him.
2. LET'S GRAB THE OPPORTUNITY TO HELP
NEW BELIEVERS IN CHRIST TO GROW AND MATURE IN THEIR CHRISTIAN LIFE.
( Ephessians 4:11-16 ) And he gave some, apostles; and
some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the
ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the
knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the
stature of the fulness of Christ:
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and
fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and
cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in
all things, which is the head, even Christ:
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and
compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual
working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the
edifying of itself in love.
3. LET'S GRAB THE OPPORTUNITY TO HELP
THE GOD'S SERVANT IN THE LOCAL IN ANY SUPPORT THEY NEEDED IN THEIR MINISTRY.
( Philippians 4:15-17 ) Now ye Philippians know also, that
in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church
communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.
16 For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my
necessity.
17 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may
abound to your account.
18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of
Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a
sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
4. LET'S GRAB THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE
UNITED IN THE LOCAL TO REACH THE LOST AT ANY COST.
( Acts 6:5-7 ) And the saying pleased the whole
multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost,
and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a
proselyte of Antioch:
6 Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had
prayed, they laid their hands on them.
7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the
disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests
were obedient to the faith.
( Acts 5:42 ) And daily in the temple, and in
every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
5. LET'S US GRAB THE OPPORTUNITY TO
SUPPORT THE MISSION PLANTING MINISTRY BY OUR SACRIFICIAL GIVING.
( II Corinthians 8:1-5 ) Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit
of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia;
2 How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of
their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality.
3 For to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their
power they were willing of themselves;
4 Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the
gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.
5 And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their
own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God.
* God bless you all always *
