THE LIFE OF THE CHRISTIAN THAT ARE WORTH LIVING IN THE EYES OF GOD
( II Corithians 5:7 ) (For we
walk by faith, not by sight:)
*
INTRODUCTION.
* Noah was found grace before God because of
his worthy living.
( Genesis 6: 8-9 ) 8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
9 These are the generations of Noah:
Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
* ( Collossians 1:10 ) That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing,
being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
* 6 GREAT
THINGS WHORTH LIVING OF THE CHRISTIAN BEFORE GOD.
1. THE LIFE
OF THE CHRISTIAN WHO WALK BY FAITH.
( Hebrews 11:4-8 ) 4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice
than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying
of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
5 By faith Enoch was translated that
he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for
before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
6 But without faith it is impossible
to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he
is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
7 By faith Noah, being warned of God
of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of
his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the
righteousness which is by faith.
8 By faith Abraham, when he was
called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance,
obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
2. THE LIFE
OF THE CHRISTIAN WHO WAKE-UP SPIRITUALY FOR SERVING THE LORD.
( Ephesians 5:14-16 ) 14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise
from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
15 See then that ye walk
circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the
days are evil.
3. THE LIFE
OF THE CHRISTIAN WHO WATCH AND PRAY BEFORE GOD THE FATHER.
( Mathew 26:39-41 ) 39 And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and
prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me:
nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
40 And he cometh unto the disciples,
and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me
one hour?
41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not
into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
4. THE LIFE
OF THE CHRISTIAN WHO WIN LOST SINNERS AT ANY COST AND AT ANYTIME.
( John 9:4-5 ) I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day:
the night cometh, when no man can work.
5 As long as I am in the world, I am
the light of the world.
5. THE LIFE
OF THE CHRISTIAN WHO WITHDRAW FROM COMMITTING SIN BEFORE GOD.
( II Corintians 6:14-16 ) Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for
what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion
hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with
Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the
temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath
said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.
* ( II Corinthians 6:17-18 ) Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate,
saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 And will be a Father unto you,
and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
6. THE LIFE
OF THE CHRISTIAN WHO WAIT FAITHFULLY FOR THE COMING OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
( Mathew 24:45-47 ) Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath
made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his
lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47 Verily I say unto you, That he
shall make him ruler over all his goods.
* God bless
you all always *
