IF YOU
ASPIRE TO MAINTAIN THE VICTORY IN THE MINISTRY OF THE LORD, YOU CANNOT ATTAIN
IT BY SITTING DOWN AND DOING NOTHING.
(John 9:4-5) [4] I must
work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no
man can work.
[5] As long as I am in the world,
I am the light of the world.
1. PRAYER WITHOUT CEASING MADE THE
CHRISTIAN VICTORIOUS.
(Acts 12:1-5) [1] Now
about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the
church.
[2] And he killed James the
brother of John with the sword.
[3] And because he saw it pleased
the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of
unleavened bread.)
[4] And when he had apprehended
him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to
keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.
[5] Peter therefore was kept in
prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.
(Acts 6:4-7) [4] But we
will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
[5] And the saying pleased the
whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy
Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and
Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:
[6] Whom they set before the
apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.
[7] And the word of God increased;
and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great
company of the priests were obedient to the faith.
2. NON-STOP WINNING OF LOST PEOPLE WITH TOTAL COURAGE MADE THE
CHRISTIANS VICTORIOUS.
( Acts 5:41-42 ) [41]
And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were
counted worthy to suffer shame for his name. [42] And daily in the temple, and
in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
( Acts 4:29-31 )
[29] And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants,
that with all boldness they may speak thy word, [30] By stretching forth thine
hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy
child Jesus. [31] And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they
were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they
spake the word of God with boldness.
3. IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO GOD'S VISION
MADE THE CHRISTIANS VICTORIOUS.
(Acts 16:8-10) [8] And
they passing by Mysia came down to Troas.
[9] And a vision appeared to Paul
in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over
into Macedonia, and help us.
[10] And after he had seen the
vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering
that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.
4. THE SANCTIFIED WALK OF THE CHRISTIAN MADE THEM VICTORIOUS.
(1 Peter 3:12-15) [12] For the eyes of the Lord are
over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of
the Lord is against them that do evil.
[13] And who is he that will harm
you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
[14] But and if ye suffer for
righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither
be troubled;
[15] But sanctify the Lord God in
your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you
a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.
5. TOTALLY FOLLOWING THE STEPS OF THE
LORD CHRIST MADE THEM VICTORIOUS.
(1 Peter 2:21) For even
hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an
example, that ye should follow his steps.
(John 13:15-16) For I have given you an example,
that ye should do as I have done to you.
Jn 13:16 Verily, verily, I say
unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent
greater than he that sent him.
6. TOTAL SUBMISSION TO THE WORKING
POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT MADE THEM VICTORIOUS.
(Acts 1:8) But ye
shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall
be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and
unto the uttermost part of the earth.
(John 16:13) Howbeit
when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he
shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak:
and he will shew you things to come.
* God bless you all always
