[K] [PREACHING LESSON 11:] OUR GOD IS FAITHFUL

OUR GOD IS FAITHFUL

* God is always faithful even though we are not faithful.

2 Timothy 2:13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

I CORINTHIANS 1:1-9 ) Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,

2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

3 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

4 I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;

5 That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;

6 Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:

7 So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:

8 Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

1. Our Faithful God Made The Christian To Have Fellowship With The Lord Jesus Christ

.( V.1 Corinthians 1:9 ) God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

a. Great privilege of the Christian to have fellowship with  the trion God

( 1John 1:3 ) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship [is] with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

* Our Grand Fellowship with God is in heaven.

(Hebrews 11:15-16 ) And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.

16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

2. Our  Faithful God Made The Christian Blameless In The Day Of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

( 1 Corinthians 1:8 ) Who shall also confirm you unto the end, [that ye may be] blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

a. Christian are blameless because we are both by the precious blood the Lord Jesus Christ.

( I Peter 1: 18-19 ) Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

3. Our Faithful God Made The Testimony Of Christ Confirm To Christian.

( I Corinthians 1:8 ) Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

(1 Peter 2:21) For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

* ( Mathew 5:16 ) Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

4. Our Faithful God Made The Grace Of God Abounds In The Christian.

( V. 3-4 ) Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

4 I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;

* The grace of God is sufficient for all the Christian who needs it.

( I Corinthians 12:9-10 ) And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

* Our God is a God of all grace.

(  I Peter 5:10 ) But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

5. Our Faithful God Made The Christian Sanctified And Called Saints.

(1 Corinthians1:2 ) Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

* The Holy God expect His own people to be holy also in all their living.

( I Peter 1:15-16 ) But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

* Christ at His commanded His children to be found holy at His coming.

( I John 3:1-3 ) Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

* God bless you always *
