NOW IS OUR OPPORTUNITY TO SHARE THE GOSPEL
OF CHRIST
(ROMANS 10:14) “How then
shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they
believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a
preacher?”
The hearts and
minds of our countrymen are still open to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. Here
are five (5) reasons why we should share the gospel of Christ "now":
1. BECAUSE
GOD IS STILL OPENING THE HEARTS OF THE LOST
(ACTS 16:14) “And a
certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which
worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto
the things which were spoken of Paul.”
God had opened
the heart of Lydia, causing her to listen to Paul while he was sharing the
gospel of Christ with her. Just as in that day and age, God is still opening
the hearts of our countrymen. Thank you, Lord, for this great opportunity.
2. BECAUSE
GOD IS STILL IN THE BUSINESS OF SAVING LOST PEOPLE.
(ACTS 2:47) “...And the
Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”
At present, God
is still in His business of saving lost people. Let’s take this great
opportunity to share the gospel with as many people as we can. Praise God for
our country where we have the liberty of sharing the gospel. Amen!
3. BECAUSE
GOD IS STILL GIVING A VISION OF THE HARVEST OF MORE LOST PEOPLE.
(JOHN 4:35) “Say not ye,
There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you,
Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to
harvest.”
In John 4:35,
Christ encourages us to lift up our eyes and look at the fields, for they are
already white for harvest. We are now in the harvest season; dear brethren in
Christ, let's reach them through the gospel of Christ.
(PROVERBS 29:18) “Where there
is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”
4. BECAUSE
GOD IS STILL GIVING HIS POWER TO HELP US BE EFFECTIVE IN WINNING THE LOST.
(ACTS 1:8) “But ye
shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall
be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and
unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
5. BECAUSE
GOD STILL DESIRES FOR ALL MEN TO BE SAVED AND COME TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE
TRUTH.
(1 TIMOTHY 2:4) “Who will
have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”
Christians,
listen to this: We do not believe in the "Cult Teaching" that God had
already chosen some people to go to "Hell." There is no way the Bible
taught that! God gave His only begotten Son, whose death was for the sins of
all mankind, which explains why God desires mankind to be saved. He has never
wanted anyone to perish in Hell.
(2 PETER 3:9) “The Lord is
not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is
longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all
should come to repentance.”
Now Christian,
let us be ready to go and to preach the gospel of Christ to all lost people.
(ROMANS 1:14-16) “I am debtor
both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.
15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at
Rome also. 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power
of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also
to the Greek.”
Prayer of
Acceptance
Do you want to
receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour? [Prayer of accepting Jesus
Christ in your heart:]
“Dear God the
Father, thank you for loving me despite being a sinner. Now I admit that I am a
sinner and I cannot save myself through my religion and good works. I trust the
Lord Jesus Christ who died on the cross of Calvary to pay for my sin. Now I
open my heart to receive Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour of my life. Amen.”
