[JJ] [PREACHING LESSON 14:] YOUR LIFE TODAY IS NOT AN ACCIDENT BECAUSE THE GOD, WHO MADE YOU ALIVE TODAY, HAS A GREAT PLAN FOR YOU TO ENGAGE YOU IN HIS MINISTRY FOR HIS GLORY AND PRAISE.

YOUR LIFE TODAY IS NOT AN ACCIDENT BECAUSE THE GOD, WHO MADE YOU ALIVE TODAY, HAS A GREAT PLAN FOR YOU TO ENGAGE YOU IN HIS MINISTRY FOR HIS GLORY AND PRAISE.

(Jeremiah 29:11) For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

* ( 1 Chronicles 4:10 ) And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

10 Reasons God Made You Alive Today

1. GOD MADE YOU ALIVE TO OBEY HIM BY FAITH.

( Hebrews 11:6-8 ) [6]But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

[7]By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

[8]By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

2. GOD MADE YOU ALIVE TO WORSHIP HIM IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH.

( John 4:22-23 ) [22]Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

[23]But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

3. GOD MADE YOU ALIVE TO HEAR AND LISTEN TO YOUR PRAYERS.

( Hebrews 4:16 ) Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

4. GOD MADE YOU ALIVE TO BE AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE BODY OF CHRIST INSIDE THE LOCAL CHURCH.

( I Corinthians 12:12-18 ) [12]For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

[13]For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

[14]For the body is not one member, but many.

[15]If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

[16]And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

[17]If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?

[18]But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.

5. GOD MADE YOU ALIVE TO LEAD THE PEOPLE TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AS THEIR LORD AND SAVIOR.

(1 Corinthians 9:19-22) [19]For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.

[20]And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;

[21]To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.

[22]To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

6. GOD MADE YOU ALIVE TO EQUIP WEAK CHRISTIANS IN THEIR CHRISTIAN LIFE.

( Ephesians 4:11-14 ) [11]And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

[12]For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

[13]Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

[14]That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

7. GOD MADE YOU ALIVE TO SHARE YOUR TALENTS IN THE MINISTRY.

( Romans 12:6-11 ) [6]Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

[7]Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;

[8]Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

[9]Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

[10]Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

[11]Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;

8. GOD MADE YOU ALIVE TO BE A BLESSING BY SUPPORTING THE WORK OF THE LORD FINANCIALLY.

( Philippians 4:15-16 ) [15]Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.

[16]For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.

9. GOD MADE YOU ALIVE TO BE A GOOD ROLE MODEL, FOLLOWING THE EXAMPLE OF CHRIST.

( 1 Peter 2:21 ) For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

10. GOD MADE YOU ALIVE TO BE CALLED AS A SERVANT AND LEADER OF THE CHURCH.

( 1 Timothy 3:1-7 ) [1]This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.

[2]A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

[3]Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;

[4]One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;

[5](For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

[6]Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.

[7]Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

* God bless you all always *
