PHYSICAL DISABILITY IS NOT A BIG PROBLEM TO
A CHRISTIAN THAT THEY CANNOT SERVE THE LORD. BUT SPIRITUAL DISABILITY OF THE
CHRISTIAN IS THE REAL PROBLEM THAT PREVENTS THEM FROM DOING THE WILL OF GOD IN
THEIR LIVES.
* ( John 14:15 ) If ye love
me, keep my commandments.
1. LACK OF
DAILY MEDITATION IS THE VERY SOURCE OF SPIRITUAL DISABILITY OF THE CHRISTIAN.
( Joshua 1:8 ) This book of
the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day
and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written
therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have
good success.
2. LACK OF
PRAYER IS THE VERY SOURCE OF SPIRITUAL DISABILITY OF THE CHRISTIAN.
( 2 Chronicles 7:14 ) If my
people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and
seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven,
and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
3. LACK OF
CONFESSION OF SIN IS THE VERY SOURCE OF SPIRITUAL DISABILITY OF THE CHRISTIAN.
* ( 1 John 1:9 ) [9]If we
confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to
cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
[10]If we say that we have not
sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
4. LACK OF
FAITH IN GOD IS THE VERY SOURCE OF SPIRITUAL DISABILITY OF THE CHRISTIAN.
( Hebrews 11:6-8 ) [6]But
without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must
believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
[7]By faith Noah, being warned of
God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving
of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the
righteousness which is by faith.
[8]By faith Abraham, when he was
called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance,
obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
5. LACK OF
DOING THE WORD OF GOD IS THE VERY SOURCE OF OUR SPIRITUAL D IN OUR CHRISTIAN
LIFE
( James 1:22-23 ) [22]But be
ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
[23]For if any be a hearer of the
word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a
glass:
6. LACK OF
HUMBLENESS BEFORE GOD IS THE VERY SOURCE OF SPIRITUAL DISABILITY OF THE
CHRISTIAN.
( I Peter 5:6 ) Humble
yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due
time:
(James 4:6-10) [6]But he
giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth
grace unto the humble.
[7]Submit yourselves therefore to
God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
[8]Draw nigh to God, and he will
draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye
double minded.
[9]Be afflicted, and mourn, and
weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
[10]Humble yourselves in the sight
of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
7. LACK OF
FRUITFULNESS IS THE VERY SOURCE OF SPIRITUAL DISABILITY IN CHRISTIAN LIFE
( John 15:1-5 ) [1]I am the
true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
[2]Every branch in me that beareth
not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it,
that it may bring forth more fruit.
[3]Now ye are clean through the word
which I have spoken unto you.
[4]Abide in me, and I in you. As the
branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can
ye, except ye abide in me.
[5]I am the vine, ye are the
branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much
fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
8. LACK OF
FAITHFULNESS TO GOD IS THE VERY SOURCE OF SPIRITUAL DISABILITY OF THE
CHRISTIAN.
( 2 Timothy 2:13 ) If we
believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
