(Malaking pagtitiwala sa Diyos sa mga oras ng pagsubok at kaguluhan sa buhay)
PSALMS 91:1-2 “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High
shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Pss 91:2 I will say of the Lord, [He is] my refuge and my fortress: my God; in
him will I trust.”
a.
King David believed
in God's great power and goodness to protect God's people in the times we need
Him in our lives.
b.
Confidence in
God is always possible even when we do not see Him. Peter showed great trust in
God even though he could not see God.
1PETER 1:8 “Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see
[him] not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:”
Four (4) things
when we put our confidence in God:
I. WE PUT OUR CONFIDENCE IN GOD EVERY TIME WE
APPROACH HIM IN PRAYER
(Inilalagay
natin ang ating pagtitiwala sa Diyos tuwing lumalapit tayo sa Kanya sa
panalangin.)
HEBREWS 4:16 “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace,
that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
a. The Lord Jesus Christ is our living example of
putting our confidence in God through prayer.
MATTHEW 26:41 “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the
spirit indeed [is] willing, but the flesh [is] weak.”
b. Jabez prayed with confidence to God and God granted
all his prayer requests.
1CHRONICLES 4:10 “And Jabez called on the God of
Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast,
and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep [me] from
evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.”
c. Prayer assures God’s power to protect us from all
trouble in life.
PSALMS 91:1-7 “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall
abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Pss 91:2 I will say of the Lord, [He is] my refuge and my fortress: my God; in
him will I trust.
Pss 91:3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, [and] from
the noisome pestilence.
Pss 91:4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou
trust: his truth [shall be thy] shield and buckler.
Pss 91:5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; [nor] for the arrow
[that] flieth by day;
Pss 91:6 [Nor] for the pestilence [that] walketh in darkness; [nor] for the
destruction [that] wasteth at noonday.
Pss 91:7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand;
[but] it shall not come nigh thee.”
II. WE PUT OUR CONFIDENCE IN GOD EVERY TIME WE PUT
OUR FAITH IN HIM
(Inilalagay
natin ang ating pagtitiwala sa Diyos sa tuwing inilalagay natin ang ating
pananalig sa Kanya.)
MARK 11:24 “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire,
when ye pray, believe that ye receive [them], and ye shall have [them].”
a. Great Christian victory that always connects to
the great faith by placing trust in God.
HEBREWS 11:32-33 “And what shall I more say? for the
time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and [of] Barak, and [of] Samson, and [of]
Jephthae; [of] David also, and Samuel, and [of] the prophets:
Heb 11:33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained
promises, stopped the mouths of lions,”
b. God expects 100% faith of the Christian to ensure
that He reveals His greatness.
ROMANS 4:19-21 “And being not weak in faith, he
considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old,
neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:
Rom 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was
strong in faith, giving glory to God;
Rom 4:21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also
to perform.”
III. WE PUT OUR CONFIDENCE IN GOD EVERY TIME WE SEEK
HIM FIRST IN OUR LIFE
(Inilalagay
natin ang ating pagtitiwala sa Diyos sa tuwing hinahanap natin Siya sa ating
buhay.)
MATTHEW 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his
righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
a.
This is God's
formula for ensuring God's perfect provision for our lives. Seek God first and
God will first make you receive the promise of abundant blessings.
PHILIPPIANS 4:19 “But my God shall supply all your
need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
b.
Man’s formula
is work hard first and the blessings follow but God’s formula is different,
seek God first, and be faithful to Him, and God will reward you with what He
hath promised in Matthew 6:33.
MATTHEW 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his
righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
IV. WE PUT OUR CONFIDENCE IN GOD WHENEVER WE LIVE A
RIGHTEOUS LIFE BEFORE HIM
(Inilalagay
natin ang ating pagtitiwala sa Diyos sa tuwing namumuhay tayo ng matuwid na
buhay sa harapan Niya)
PSALMS 11:7 “For the righteous Lord loveth righteousness; his
countenance doth behold the upright.”
a. God speaks to whom He loves and blesses the
righteous Christians.
b. God promises to answer the prayers of the
righteous Christians.
JAMES 5:16 “Confess
[your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”
c. God has promised His perfect protection to Christians
who live righteously in a wicked and sinful world.
EZEKIEL 14:14 “Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it,
they should deliver [but] their own souls by their righteousness, saith the
Lord God.”
CONCLUSION:
To put our confidence is always possible
and ensures God’s perfect protection and great blessing.
PSALMS 91:1-3 “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High
shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Pss 91:2 I will say of the Lord, [He is] my refuge and my fortress: my God; in
him will I trust.
Pss 91:3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, [and] from
the noisome pestilence.”
▪GOD
BLESS YOU ALL▪
