[J] [PREACHING LESSON 5:] SOME GODLY ACTIONS OF GOD’S CHILDREN THAT PROVE THAT THEY ARE GENUINE CHRISTIANS

 (Ang ilang maka-Diyos na kilos ng mga anak ng Diyos ay nagpapatunay na sila ay mga tunay na Kristiyano)

1JOHN 2:3-4 “And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
1Jn 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”

 Panimula:

a.     Mayroon tayong kasabihan -- "action speaks louder than voice”. Ang Kristiyano ay maaaring matukoy sa pamamagitan ng kanilang maka-Diyos na pagkilos at pagpapasya sa kanilang buhay.

b.    Ang Salita ng Diyos ay malinaw na nagpapatunay na ang maka-Diyos na kilos ay buhay ng isang tunay na Kristiyano.

ACTS 4:13 “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.”

 

Apat (4) na bagay tungkol sa mga patunay ng totoong Kristiyano:

 

1. GENUINE CHRISTIANS CONFESS THEIR SIN AND ASK FOR FORGIVENESS BEFORE GOD

(Ipinagtatapat ng tunay na mga Kristiyano ang kanilang kasalanan at humihingi ng kapatawaran sa harap ng Diyos)

PSALMS 32:1-5 “Blessed [is he whose] transgression [is] forgiven, [whose] sin [is] covered.
Pss 32:2 Blessed [is] the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit [there is] no guile.
Pss 32:3 When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
Pss 32:4 For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
Pss 32:5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.”

 

a.     Ang pagtatapat ng ating mga kasalanan at paghingi ng kapatawaran sa harap ng Diyos ay isang makadiyos na gawain ng isang tunay na Kristiyano.

b.    Pinatototohanan ni Haring David na kung patuloy niyang itatago ang kanyang mga kasalanan sa harap ng Diyos, ang kamay ng Diyos ay mabigat sa kanya.

PSALMS 32:4 “For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.”

 

c.      Nangako ang Diyos na patatawarin lamang tayo kung ipagtatapat natin ang ating mga kasalanan sa harap Niya.

1JOHN 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

 

2. GENUINE CHRISTIANS CONTINUE NOT TO PRACTICE SINNING

(Ang mga tunay na Kristiyano ay hindi nagsasagawa ng kasalanan)

1JOHN 3:8-10 “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
1Jn 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1Jn 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.”

 

a.     Ang kahulugan ng hindi paggawa ng kasalanan ay ang hindi pagpapraktis ng kasalanan lalo na ngayon na tayo ay isang Kristiyano.

b.    Ngunit sa di-ligtas o sa mga hindi mananampalataya, normal para sa kanila na mabuhay sa kasalanan.

c.      Ngayon alam natin na ang banal na kilos ng mga anak ng Diyos ay tunay na Kristiyano.

1JOHN 3:10 “In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.”

 

3. GENUINE CHRISTIANS CONFORM NOT THE LIFESTYLE OF THIS WORLD

(Ang tunay na Kristiyano ay hindi sumusunod sa pamumuhay ng mundong ito)

ROMANS 12:1-2 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service.
Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

 

a.     Yayakapin ng mga hindi mananampalataya ang buhay ng mundong ito ngunit ihaharap naman ng totoong Kristiyano ang kanilang mga katawan sa harap ng Diyos na isang haing buhay at banal.

b.    Inuutusan tayo ng Diyos na huwag makipamatok ng kabilan sa mga di-mananampalataya.

2CORINTHIANS 6:14 “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?”

 

c.      Inaasahan ng Diyos ang isang malaking pagkakaiba sa buhay ng mga mananampalataya.

JOHN14:15 “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”

 

4. GENUINE CONTINUE TO WALK SPIRITUALLY AS CHRIST WALKED

(Ang mga tunay na Kristiyano ay patuloy na lumalakad sa espirituwal na tulad ng paglakad ni Kristo)

1JOHN 2:6 “He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.”

 

a.     Tutulungan ng Banal na Espiritu ang tunay na Kristiyano na sundin ang mga hakbang ni Cristo.

1PETER 2:21 “For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:”

GALATIANS 5:16 “[This] I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”

 

b.    Pinatunayan ni Pablo na sumunod siya sa mga yapak ni Kristo.

EPHESIANS 5:1 “Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;”

 

Pangwakas:

Ang mga tunay na Kristiyano ay laging naghahangad na makipagtulungan kay Cristo sa pagtupad sa Dakilang Utos.

MARK 16:15 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”
