(Dakila at epektibong hamon para sa Kristiyano na manatiling nakatuon sa pag-aakay ng mga kaluluwa)
JOHN 4:35 “Say not ye, There are yet four months, and [then] cometh
harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for
they are white already to harvest.”
Introduction:
a.
The hardest
job of every pastor in church leadership is to persuade the Christian to stay
focused on winning the lost. It is really not easy for a pastor to do this.
b.
There are many
reasons why this is a difficult job for a pastor.
1.
Many within
the local church are unfaithful to the Lord and the work of soulwinning is the
work of faithful Christians.
2TIMOTHY 2:2 “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many
witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach
others also.”
2.
Many within
the local church are so weak spiritually but soulwinning is the work of a
strong Christian.
2TIMOTHY 2:1 “Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in
Christ Jesus.”
3.
The work of soulwinning
is for devout Christians but many in the church are lazy to pray and lazy to
attend prayer meetings.
ROMANS 10:1 “Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel
is, that they might be saved.”
Four (4) effective
motivation for the Christian to stay focus on winning souls:
I. STAY FOCUSED ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE LIFE OF CHRIST
IN WINNING SOULS
(Manatiling
nakatuon sa halimbawa ng buhay ni Cristo sa pag-aakay ng kaluluwa.)
LUKE 19:10 “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which
was lost.”
a. Christ's greatest desire in life during His earthly
ministry was to win lost people at all costs.
JOHN 9:4-5 “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is
day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
Jn 9:5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
b. Christ made soulwinning a "must" task
to do on a daily basis.
JOHN 9:4-5 “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is
day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
II. STAY FOCUSED ON THE GREAT HARVEST OF PRECIOUS
SOULS
(Manatiling
nakatuon sa dakilang pag-aani ng mga mahalagang kaluluwa)
JOHN 4:35 “Say not ye, There are yet four months, and [then] cometh
harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for
they are white already to harvest.”
a. The great harvests are white and ready to harvest,
Christ said.
b. Great harvests are always possible even in our
time because there are so many people everywhere.
Ø Even in the time of Peter and many other servants
of God and in the time of D. L. Moody, of Jack Hyles, of John Rice and of Billy
Graham and even in our day.
ACTS 6:7 “And the word of God increased; and the number of the
disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests
were obedient to the faith.”
III. STAY FOCUSED ON THE PRECIOUSNESS OF EVERY LOST SOUL
(Manatiling
nakatuon sa kahalagahan ng bawat kaluluwang di-ligtas)
MARK 8:36 “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole
world, and lose his own soul?”
a.
God called the
soulwinners wise because they value the precious souls of the lost.
PROVERBS 11:30 “The fruit of the righteous [is] a
tree of life; and he that winneth souls [is] wise.”
b.
God called the
feet of the soulwinners beautiful.
ROMANS 10:15 “And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is
written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace,
and bring glad tidings of good things!”
c.
God has prepared
a crown of rejoicing for the faithful soulwinners.
1THESSALONIANS 2:19-20 “For what [is] our hope, or joy, or
crown of rejoicing? [Are] not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ
at his coming?
1Thes 2:20 For ye are our glory and joy.”
IV. STAY FOCUSED ON BEING FRUITFUL WHILE WAITING FOR
THE SOON COMING OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
(Manatiling
nakatuon sa pagiging mabunga habang hinihintay ang pagdating ng Panginoong
Jesucristo.)
MATTHEW 24:45-46 “Who then is a faithful and wise
servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in
due season?
Mt 24:46 Blessed [is] that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so
doing.”
a.
Christ expects
the Christian to be faithful in winning the lost while waiting the coming of
the Lord Jesus Christ.
b.
Winning lost
people is God’s way to make our life pure while waiting for the soon coming of
the Lord.
1JOHN 3:2-3 “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet
appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be
like him; for we shall see him as he is.
1Jn 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is
pure.”
CONCLUSION:
Christ challenges us to stay focused on
winning lost people at any cost until He returns.
MATTHEW 24:46 “Blessed [is] that servant, whom his lord when he cometh
shall find so doing.”
▪GOD
BLESS YOU ALL▪
