(Kapag ang Diyos ay nagbibigay ng katiyakan sa Kristiyano, ito ay isang perpektong katiyakan.)
1JOHN 5:13 “These things have I written unto you that believe on the
name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye
may believe on the name of the Son of God.”
Introduction:
a.
The assurance
of salvation is only one of the perfect assurances of every Christian so if we
have truly accepted the Lord Jesus we have no doubt in our acceptance of Christ
Jesus.
b.
Perfect
assurance of God's promise is possible and has a clear basis so we will not
doubt it.
TITUS 1:2 “In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie,
promised before the world began;”
c.
Let us study
the basis for the perfect assurance of God's promises to every Christian.
Five (5) clear
bases of perfect assurance from God:
I. THE GOD WHO GAVE THE PERFECT ASSURANCE IS A
PERFECT AND GREAT GOD
(Ang
Diyos na nagbigay ng perpektong katiyakan ay isang perpekto at dakilang Diyos)
1PETER 2:22 “Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:”
a. God is a perfect God and we can trust Him that
His assurance given to us is a perfect assurance.
b. God is an all-powerful God and nothing is too
difficult for Him to fulfill His promise.
JEREMIAH 32:17-18 “Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made
the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, [and] there
is nothing too hard for thee:
Jer 32:18 Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the
iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great,
the Mighty God, the Lord of hosts, [is] his name,”
c. God's perfect assurance to the Christian is
always possible with God because with God nothing is impossible.
LUKE 1:37 “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”
II. THE GOD WHO GAVE A PERFECT ASSURANCE BASED ON HIS
PROMISE TO THE PERFECT WORD OF GOD
(Ang
Diyos na nagbigay ng isang perpektong katiyakan batay sa Kanyang mga pangako sa
perpektong Salita ng Diyos.)
PSALMS 19:7 “The law of the Lord [is] perfect, converting the soul: the
testimony of the Lord [is] sure, making wise the simple.”
a. A great feature of the Word of God is that it is
the perfect Word of God.
1PETER 1:20-21 “Who verily was foreordained before
the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
1Pet 1:21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and
gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.”
b. The Word of God is powerful.
HEBREWS 4:12 “For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper
than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and
spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and
intents of the heart.”
c. The Bible will remain forever and ever.
MATTHEW 24:35 “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not
pass away.”
d. The Bible is the source of all of God's creation
on earth.
HEBREWS 11:3 “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by
the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do
appear.”
III. THE GOD WHO GAVE A PERFECT ASSURANCE IS REST
ASSURED BY HIS PERFECT CHARACTERISTIC
(Ang
Diyos na nagbigay ng isang perpektong katiyakan ay natitiyak ng Kanyang
perpektong katangian)
TITUS 1:2 “In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie,
promised before the world began;”
a.
The perfect
God protects His promise of perfect assurance of His perfect divine
characteristics
b.
The God who
gave a perfect assurance is an everlasting God.
c.
The God who
gave a perfect assurance is able to perform what He promised to us.
ROMANS 4:20-21 “He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief;
but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
Rom 4:21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also
to perform.”
d.
The God who
gave the perfect assurance is a faithful God.
PSALMS 89:5 “And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O Lord: thy
faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.”
Ø God is always faithful even though we are not
faithful.
2TIMOTHY 2:13 “If we believe not, [yet] he abideth faithful: he cannot
deny himself.”
Ø The faithful God is always committed to fulfill
what He hath promise to His children.
2TIMOTHY 1:13 “2Tim 1:13 Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou
hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.”
CONCLUSION:
The perfect assurance for the Christian is
always possible to experience because it is a perfect God who promises us, and
more perfect promises of God to us.
2PETER 1:4 “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious
promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having
escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”
▪GOD
BLESS YOU ALL▪
