(Magandang mga kadahilanan kung bakit si Haring David ay napakalapit sa puso ng Diyos)
PSALMS 37:3-8 “Trust in the Lord, and do good; [so] shalt thou dwell in
the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
Pss 37:4 Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires
of thine heart.
Pss 37:5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring [it]
to pass.
Pss 37:6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy
judgment as the noonday.

of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked
devices to pass.
Pss 37:8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to
do evil.”
The steps of a [good] man are ordered by the Lord: and he

is close to God.

Five (5) good
reasons why King David is close to the heart of God:

the lord all his life

him will I trust.”

trust in God.

Pss 94:17 Unless the Lord [had been] my help, my soul had almost dwelt in
silence.”

the Word of God as a guide for righteous living in our Christian life.

the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the

meditate day and night.”

we experience spiritual fatigue but we are encouraged to rest in the Lord.

stress in their Christian life.

and I will give you rest.”

EXAMPLE OF A GOOD CHRISTIAN ALL HIS LIFE
PSALMS 37:8 “Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in
any wise to do evil.”
a. The Christian
is clearly an example of the Lord Jesus that we can always see in our lives the
hope we have because Jesus is the one who will bring joy to every Christian.
JOHN 15:10-11 “If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love;
even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
Jn 15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you,
and [that] your joy might be full.”
b. Christians
have every reason to have joy in their Christian life because Christ Jesus
lives in our hearts.

These reasons are important for a Christian who has full
trust in the Lord.
