(Ang mga matitibay na desisyon sa buhay ay nagpapatunay na ikaw ay isang tunay na Kristiyano)
ACTS 20:24 “But none of these things move me, neither count I my life
dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry,
which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of
God.”
2TIMOTHY 1:9 “Who hath saved us, and called [us] with an holy calling,
not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which
was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,”
Introduction:
a.
We can know
that we are genuine Christians based on what the Bible says:
1. 1JOHN
5:13 “These things have I written unto you that believe on the
name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye
may believe on the name of the Son of God.”
2. JOHN
1:12 “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to
become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:”
3. LUKE
10:20 “Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are
subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.”
4. JOHN
5:24 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word,
and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come
into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
5.
There is so much
proof that we are genuine Christians.
b.
We can know that
you are a genuine Christian based on your decision to follow God in your life.
Five (5) great
decisions you have made to follow in your life:
I. YOUR DAILY DECISION TO MEDITATE ON THE WORD OF
GOD
(Ang
iyong pang-araw-araw na desisyon na magnilay sa Salita ng Diyos)
JOSHUA 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but
thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do
according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way
prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
a. God has given us a strong command to meditate on His
precious word day and night and apply it in our life.
b. Genuine Christian will show hunger for the
spiritual food that God has prepared for us. The lost people will not ask for
spiritual food because they are spiritually dead.
1PETER 2:2 “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that
ye may grow thereby:”
MATTHEW 4:4 “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live
by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”
II. YOUR DECISION TO MINGLE WITH GOD IN PRAYER
(Ang
iyong pasya na makihalubilo sa Diyos sa panalangin)
LUKE 18:1 “And he spake a parable unto them [to this end], that men
ought always to pray, and not to faint;”
a. Christ has given us a good example of a Christian
who is always mingles with God the Father in prayer.

spirit indeed [is] willing, but the flesh [is] weak.”
b. Genuine Christians always seek God in their
prayers for Christ who said, “for without me you can do nothing”.
JOHN 15:5 “I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in
me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do
nothing.”
c. Genuine Christians believe that prayer is the
foundation of our spiritual service to God, without prayer without power.
JEREMIAH 33:3 “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great
and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”

be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I
will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there
shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it].”
a. The Lord Jesus said that it is more blessed to
give than to receive.
ACTS 20:35 “I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye
ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he
said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
b. Christ is our example of sacrificial giving.
2CORINTHIANS 8:9 “For we would not, brethren, have
you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out
of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life: 9 But we
had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves,
but in God which raiseth the dead: ”

(Ang
iyong malaking pagnanais na mag-akay ng kaluluwa)
