(Ang mga Kristiyano na tinawag na mahalagang bayan ng Diyos)
1PETER 2:5, 9-10 “Ye also, as lively stones, are built up
a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices,
acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
1Pet
2:9 But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a
peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called
you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
1Pet 2:10 Which in time past [were] not a people, but [are] now the people of
God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.”
Panimula:
a. Sinasabi mismo ng Diyos na ang mga Kristiyano ay
mahalagang tao ng Diyos. Tinatawag tayong mahalagang espirituwal na bato.
b. Maraming katibayan ang Salita ng Diyos ng kahalagahan
ng bawat Kristiyano sa paningin ng Diyos.
Mga katunayan ng pagiging mahalaga ng Kristiyano sa
paningin ng Diyos:
1. BECAUSE
CHRISTIANS ARE GOD’S SAVED PEOPLE
(Sapagkat ang
mga Kristiyano ay ligtas na bayan ng Diyos)
a.
Ang Kristiyano ay mahalagang tao ng
Diyos sapagkat tayo ay naligtas sa mahalagang dugo ng Panginoong Jesus.
1PETER 1:18-19
“Forasmuch
as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, [as] silver and
gold, from your vain conversation [received] by tradition from your fathers;
1Pet 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish
and without spot:”
b.
Ang malaking halaga na binayaran ng
Diyos Ama para sa atin na mga makasalanan na matubos at mailigtas ay ang tunay
na dahilan kung bakit tayo naging mahalaga sa paningin ng Diyos.
2. BECAUSE CHRISTIANS ARE GOD’S SPECIAL PEOPLE
(Sapagkat ang mga
Kristiyano ay espesyal na bayan ng Diyos)

Mga mararangal na katawagan ay ibinigay
ng Diyos para sa mga Kristiyano kung bakit tayo ay natatanging bayan ng Diyos.

Tinawag tayo ng Diyos na lahing hirang,
bayang banal, at bayang pag-aari ng Diyos.
b.
Ang mga Kristiyano ay mga espesyal na
bayan ng Diyos dahil nakatanggap tayo ng awa. Ngayon ay inaangkin tayo na bayan
ng Diyos na dati ay hindi.

3. BECAUSE CHRISTIANS ARE GOD’S SALT PEOPLE
(Sapagkat ang mga Kristiyano
ay mga taong asin ng Diyos)
MATTHEW 5:13 “Ye are the salt of the
earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it
is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under
foot of men.”
a.
Ang asin ay isang mahalagang sangkap sa
maraming paraan at pangangailangan. Ito ay panimpla sa pagkain. Nakakatulong
ito upang maiwasan ang pagkasira ng pagkain. Ngayon maaari din itong magamit
upang ilawan ang iyong lampara at maliwanagan ang iyong buhay.
b.
Ang mga Kristiyano ay ligtas na mga tao
na may mahalagang papel na gagampanan sa madilim at makasalanang mundo upang sila
ay maging kapaki-pakinabang sa hindi ligtas na magkaroon sila ng pag-asa ng
kaligtasan.
MATTHEW
5:13-16 “Ye

Mt 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be
hid.
Mt 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a
candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Mt 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works,
and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
4. BECAUSE CHRISTIANS ARE GOD’S SUPPORTIVE
PEOPLE IN HIS WORK
(Sapagkat ang mga
Kristiyano ay mga taong sumusuporta sa Diyos sa Kanyang gawain)
PHILIPPIANS
4:15-16 “Now
ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed
from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and
receiving, but ye only.
Php 4:16 For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.”
a.
Ang mga Kristiyano sa Filipos ay lubos
na nakakatulong sa pangangailangan ng gawain ng Panginoon.
b.
Nagagalak si Pablo na ang mga tumutulong
sa kanya ay mahamon pa upang mapunan ng mga pagpapala ng Diyos.
c.
Lalo silang nakakatulong sa mga
nag-aakay ng kaluluwa.
ACTS 5:42 “And daily in the
temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.”
Pangwakas:
Ang mga Kristiyano ay tunay na mahalagang tao ng Diyos.
